Polaroids are taking place of "profile badges"... At key points of Fish Wrangler, you will be awarded with a "Polaroid " - basically an achievement award of something interesting that displays on your profile!

There are many different polaroids that a wrangler can achieve. They are outlined in the table below along with how to unlock them and a description. NOTE: The polaroid's description doesn't appear in-game for you until after you have unlocked it:

As of May 2017, there are 31 Polaroids to collect!

There are also one of two special badges that could have been obtained. These are no longer obtainable and were only given out during the time.

1	Catch the Golden Fish with a level 80 Oak Branch, Broken Standard, and Fancy Rifle!	The Ancient Mariner awards this polaroid upon catching the Golden Fish , the monster of Waterport!
2	Catch the Cursed Arthurian with a level 80 Excali-pole and Necro-pole!	The Ancient Mariner rewards this polaroid upon catching the Cursed Arthurian, the monster of Fishertonville!
3	Catch the Dweller with a level 80 Steam Powered Hydro-pole and Sonar Pulverizer.	The Ancient Mariner rewards this polaroid upon catching the Dweller, the monster of Blue Crescent!
4	Catch the Octo Magma with a level 80 Cubey Incinerator.	The Ancient Mariner rewards this polaroid upon catching the Octo Magma, the level 80 fish of Magma Reef!
5	Catch the T850 with a level 80 Pneumatic Spear.	The Ancient Mariner rewards this polaroid upon catching the T850, the level 80 fish of Sans Culpra!
6	Catch the level 100 Toby Richards with the Alcatraz pole.	The Ancient Mariner rewards this polaroid upon catching the Toby Richards, the heaviest fish in the Geminisles!
7	Catch the level 100 Reigning Ice Fish with the Holy Liberator or Evil Obliterator.	The Ancient Mariner awards this polaroid upon catching and then stopping the Reigning Ice from destroying Icelantica.
8	Catch the Yin Yang Koi with a level 130 Holy Liberator and Evil Obliterator.	The Ancient Mariner rewards this polaroid upon catching the Yin Yang Koi, the most powerful fish in Icelantica!
9	Catch the Evil Sir Sigfried with a symbiotic pole!	Complete the series of Sig levels by catching the man who started it all! The only way to stop the Evil Sir Sigfried from continuing his horrendous mutations is by catching him with a maxed out symbiotic pole! Note: This polaroid was initially bugged, and was awarded after shooting the parrot fish to unlock Parribea (rather than catching Sig). The in-game description is also incorrect in that catching Sig only requires a level 80 symbiotic pole, although the level 90 add-on that allows you to harness Liquid Gold helps in landing him.
10	Level up each symbiotic pole and harness Liquid Gold on the Plangaepus to catch it.	N/A Note: Symbiotic poles are a level 100 Planktonite and Algaenite.
11	Catch the Krakken and save the Ancient Mariner by using the Grappling Cannon to ratchet onto his boat!	Rescued the Ancient Mariner from the Pirates of Parribea! Wranglers must shoot a hand-made Grappling Cannon over the Krakken's enormous tentacles in order to grapple there way onto the Ancient Mariner's captured boat!
12	Level up each Parribean pole and harness Liquid Gold on the level 120 Serpentine to catch it.	N/A
13	Level up the three Santa Francescan poles and harness Liquid Gold on the Sludge Shark to catch it.	The Sludge Shark was created by the slime and pollution of Santa Francesca. 80 Crapole, Floral Standard, and Lanscaper pole.
14	Level up the two New Seinborough poles and harness Liquid Gold on the Dragon Fish to catch it.	The Dragon Fish of New Seinborough is all grown up and ready to take on Revelation Rod combo! Requires a level 80 Lightning Rod and Revelation Rod.
15	Level up the two Redwood Crescent poles and harness Liquid Gold on the Green Diablo Shark to catch it.	JUST RELEASED The Green Diablo Shark was once thought to be the protector of Redwood Crescent. Perhaps not! Requires a level 80 Coal Powered Thermo-pole and Shredder.
16	Level up the Nueron Transducer and harness Liquid Gold on the level 80 Phonea to catch it.	The level 80 Phonea fish of Asteroid Reef is not a phony. Take our word for it! Requires a level 80 Nueron Transducer.
17	Level up the Legionnaire Lance and harness Liquid Gold on the level 80 Typhoeus to catch it.	The Typhoeus is a large mythical dragon-like fish in Helvetica. The Spirit of the Sea asks wranglers to help catch the Typhoeus as it's been ravaging Roperia for decades. Catching the Typhoeus marks the end to the first series of Roperia! Requires a level 80 Legionnaires Lance.
18	Level up the Folsom Pole and harness Liquid Gold on the level 100 Albino Diablo Shark to catch it.	The Albino Diablo, or White Devil, Shark is the fiercest predator in Mount Promontory Roperia. The Roperian Naval Academy has been studying the beast of a creature for many years and has yet to successful wrangle the shark. Catching the Albino Shark marks the end to the Mount Promontory series in Roperia! Requires a level 100 Folsom Pole.
19	If you've caught 10 Patty Fish in a row, you can claim the polaroid from the fish page. Otherwise, you can pay Deckhand Diego 10 Liquid Golds and 10 Red Sharks to complete the streak - because Diego needs to be heavily caffeinated and on his game when trying to complete this incredible catching streak!	On March 17th 2011 at approximately 7:03am FVT, the “Great Patty Invasion” took place. Sparks were flying, smoke was rising, and clovers came crashing. Wranglers had officially been invaded by the Patty Fish. Some users seem to have been able to get it for free now! Just visit the Patty page.
20	Stop by Fish Wrangler for 1,000 days to unlock. (or about 95 days before your 3rd year anniversary if 100% seen)	Congrats! You've stopped by on Fish Wrangler for 1,000+ days! April 11th, 2011 was the first day anyone could reach the 1k mark - which is 2 years, 8 months, 27 days after FW launched!
21	Level up the Kolenya all the way and start praying or harnessing Liquid Gold!	Caught the level 100 Dodge Croc Fish! (Deb jumpin' in Turtle-man style! Live Action!)
22	Level up the Kolenya + Great Equalizer all the way and harness Liquid Gold on the level 100 Spirit Ray to catch it.	N/A
23	Level up the Candy Cane + Medical Mangler all the way and harness Liquid Gold on the level 100 Evo Shark to wrangle it in.	N/A
24	Level up the Nail Fly + Palm Spear + Kelp Net all the way and harness Liquid Gold on the level 80 Stormy Charybdis to wrangle it in. Deckhand Deb will help wrangle it with the Kelp Net, so don't use it.	N/A
25	Level up the Sling Spear, Torpedo Spear or Electro Spear all the way to level 80! Hope to catch it or harness Liquid Gold on the level 80 Tentacle of Terror to wrangle it in.	The Tentacle of Terror mutated from the tentacle you caught off from Monster Stu and give to the Merking as proof of your capture - requiring a fully leveled Sling Spear, Torpedo Spear or Electro Spear! It's not an error when you catch this big terror!
26	Level up the Sling Spear, Torpedo Spear, Electro Spear all the way and harness Liquid Gold on the level 80 Sig Sanctorio to wrangle it in. Deckhand Deb will help wrangle it with the Electro Spear, so don't use it.	N/A
27	Stop by Fish Wrangler for X more days to unlock the 2,000th Sunrise Polaroid!	N/A (Ex: Y + X = 2000; Y being your current days shown up, with X being your remaining. Note: If you appeared 100% of days, it should happen about 175 days, after your 5th year Anniversary: [365 * 5 or 1825])
28	Level up the Guardian Grabber and Danger Destroyer to level 80! Hope to catch it or harness Liquid Gold on the level 80 Heartworm to wrangle it in.	Caught the multi-pole Heartworm that plagued Lucidia Preserve for years and years. The region is back to it's original splendor as the Heart Coral is back to normal!
29	Level up the Poacherist and Survivalist poles to level 100! Hope to catch it with Love Chum or harness Liquid Gold on the level 100 Calendar to wrangle it in.	N/A

Badge	Description
	There were 308 people that were allowed to enter the new unreleased Roperia area early due to a bug by paying 4 million gold to earl. Dictator Danzic has found out about the leak in the directions to Roperia! He has just deported all 308 wranglers who went to Roperia and removed their Roperia catches. Those 308 were allowed to get back for free once it opened, they also recieved special badge of Diego getting deported (which is why he's no longer allowed here).
	Then for the other non-308, it'll be for the same polaroid, but the picture will be of "deckhand deb" getting deported when you're in a more advanced location in roperia (note: deb is your mentor in Roperia - look at roperian skill imgs that's her!) Note: Not sure this badge ever came out or not. I, Kevin "Hawk" Fisher, never seen or received one, although stopped playing sometime around than as well.
	Wrangler's received this badge by participating in the ''10th Anniversary Trivia Extravaganza!'' forum thread here in celebration of Fish Wrangler's 10th year.
	A badge awarded to some wranglers that managed to enter the new unreleased Innsmouth Island early by using a direct link to purchase the lovecraft and didn't follow the in-game instructions, and were deported by the Royal Order of Dagon. Changelog post
