Description: Ancient anglers used the wooden stick to catch fish all around the coasts of the world. Aspiring wranglers have found good success with the Oak Branch and Pine Cone combo.
The Oak Branch is one of two poles you can choose to use when you begin the game - the other is the Broken Standard.
Over time, the preferred lure to use with the Oak Branch changed from steak to chicken to a pine cone - the old versions can be seen here and here.

Pole Exclusive Fish[edit]
All poles have fish that can only be caught exclusively by that pole. The set of fish that can only be caught by the Oak Branch are:

Camo Branch[edit]
The Camo Branch is the stealth upgrade of the Oak Branch. It became available on March 4, 2021. It is unlocked by going to Earl's place at WaterPort and answering his questions: see WaterPier#Unlocking WaterPier. Answering correctly allows you to learn the Silent Secrecy skill at the cost of: 10 million gold - 20k less per hour, and eventually settling at 20,000 gold.
You can then level your Stealth by fishing at WaterPier. Note that in the non-stealth areas like WaterPort, it will be treated as a regular Oak Branch and not level your Stealth. Also while you catch fish in WaterPier, it will still level your regular Oak Branch. Stealth can be affected by pole leveling bonuses.
