How to catch Spirit Ray Fish:
Catch the Spirit Ray in Deadwater Saloon by using a maxed out Great Equalizer and activating Liquid Gold on the breed. Continue fishing as usual, and you will eventually be prompted with a message that tells you to switch to your maxed out Kolenya Pole!
Experience has shown that either poles can be used to initiate and harness LG, however one must still switch to the opposite pole regardless of what red pop-up states is the pole to use.
