Native Summary[edit]

Fishing in Tropulence Bay isn't just a hobby—it's a status symbol. The town's wooden piers are a little too polished, the bait shops charge extra for “premium service,” and the locals have mastered the art of looking busy while doing absolutely nothing.

SPOILER: For the willing, a behind-the-shadows image of Tropulence Bay is available here.

How to play[edit]

As the first fish in this area requires a level 83 pole, you might want to back out to Tropadelic Shores until your pole is that level, or fish with LC.

The Tropication islands cycle among three types of weather: Cloudy, Rainy, or Sunny. The weather state will remain for the 24 hours of FVT time, and then change to another type. During this, certain fish will not be catchable (listed as Extinct) unless you use a Tiki resource. For example, the Raypalm Fish is only available to catch during the Sunny day or using a Sun Tiki. Check the map page to see the current and upcoming weather.

Certain task fish are unlocked in sequence upon the first catch of the previous fish, so: Sharkytect's Empire I Fish -> Sharkytect's Empire II Fish -> Sharkytect's Empire III Fish -> Sharkytect's Empire IV Fish.

The final fish to catch is the King Castatiki Fish which requires a level 100 Tiki Troller and a level 100 Castaway Catcher. It is a multi-pole fish so when you catch it with one of the poles, you'll have to switch to the other pole and finish the cast.

Trivia[edit]

Tropulence Bay is #104 in the release order of all the islands through the game.
