While fishing in Coral Corral, a wrangler will occasionally be attacked by El Bandito. He is similar to the opponents you encounter in Icelantica (Flying Penguin, Rabid Raccoon, Polar Bear).

El Bandito
After making a cast, you may get this message:
While fishing in Amadahy Plains, you will occasionally encounter El Bandito. He is similar to the opponents you've encountered in Icelantica (Flying Penguin, Rabid Raccoon, Polar Bear), however requires a Lv 23 (Lv. 25+ recommended) pole to successfully attack him.
----

Success has a chance of obtaining an item from the Bandito Collection. Different options drop different items. The last option of Defend/Stab will generally get you chances for items towards the bottom of the collection list that you can trade down.
What do you want to do?
* Stay calm and don't move.
* Take off and run.
* Offer it my next few catches. (depends on El Bandito's hunger)
* Defend with your Great Equalizer
----
The last option changes depending on which pole (Great Equalizer or Kolenya) you are using and should be of a level of at least 23.
