The Oak Branch is one of two poles you can choose to use when you begin the game - the other is the Broken Standard.
Over time, the preferred lure to use with the Oak Branch changed from steak to chicken to a pine cone - the old versions can be seen here and here.

Camo Branch
The Camo Branch is the stealth upgrade of the Oak Branch. It is unlocked by learning the Secrecy Skill at Earl's place at WaterPort. The cost to learn the Secrecy skill starts off at 10 million gold - 20k less per hour on March 4, 2021. It eventually settles at 20,000 gold. You can then level your Stealth by fishing at WaterPier.
