Survivalist Quests[edit]

Frog Fins[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 1/10)
Frogs are a delicacy in Mosquito Run, so wranglers better get used to eating them! Enjoy this simple fin appetizer at Ruby Maes.
Pole Req: Level 10+ Survivalist

Quest specific tips: Pretty easy & straight forward, you just need Lv 12 to catch the last fish (or just 10 with love chum). Can be completed multiple times as you have 13-15 levels until the next quest.
Catch Req's: 10 Thorny Catty Fish, 7 Ant Eater Fish, 6 Red Eye Tree Frog Fish, 1 Toucan Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Piranha Skewers[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 3/10)
Fresh out of the Amazon River, this piranha meat is deep-fried and pierced onto a metal skewer. Enjoy!
Pole Req: Level 25+ Survivalist

Quest specific tips: Final quest for Mosquito Run - so kinda hard. Finish the first 20 fish ASAP, and try to work on the N Piranha on your way to Lv 30, you should have a nice boost worked up by then. Try to stick around in the area even after finishing the B Caimans as the predator (Chief of Cadavers) in CE is too strong until you hit Lv 50. Use tournaments to build levels.
Catch Req's: 13 Pink Porpoise Fish, 7 Anaconda Eel Fish, 5 Nizon Piranha Fish, 2 Black Caiman Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Tik Tik Stew[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 5/10)
Yes, that is really a fly in your soup! This stew is loaded with fiber and protein from the Tik Tik Fly Fish.
Pole Req: Level 40+ Survivalist
Unlocks: Shovel Support

Quest specific tips: This takes place in Cadaver Expanse. Pretty straight forward, although the Vulture Rays could be the bottleneck. If you can't beat Chief of Cadaver with a Lv. 55+ pole, you can return to Mosquito Run and defeat the Mosquito Warrior, and then fish without the Chief bothering you for about two hours. Otherwise, you could offer catches and those catches could still count towards the quest even if they don't give you silver and points. The advanced fish for Stuffed Blubber quest at levels 47-53 may interfere if you are going for speed.
Catch Req's: 15 Meerkat Fish, 12 Giraffe Neck Fish, 9 Tik Tik Fly Fish, 5 Vulture Ray Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Stuffed Blubber[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 8/10)
Pack on the pounds by gorging on Potamus blubber – an African delicacy in Cadaver Expanse.
Pole Req: Level 55+ Survivalist
Unlocks: Mosquito Net

Quest specific tips: This quest also takes place in Cadaver Expanse. It could be harder(??) than the next 9/10 one as the fish have the rarest population in Cadaver Expanse. With a Lv. 55 pole, you will be right on the border of defeating Chief of Cadaver. You can hand in the Chief of Cadaver collection to access the add-on for your pole in Sepulcro del Sol, but be sure to time it so you face the Chief in Cadaver Expanse instead of Sol Queen. However, you won't be able to level your pole beyond Lv. 80 until you complete this quest. Potamus Fish will likely be the last one to get, so you may want to Liquid Gold catch that if you are going for speed.
Catch Req's: 14 Spitting Cobra Fish, 9 Leopard Turtle Fish, 3 Hyena Fish, 1 Potamus Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Adventure Pasta[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 9/10)
Homemade fettuccini noodles mixed with shrunken head meatballs. Get ready for an adventurous meal!
Pole Req: Level 70+ Survivalist
Unlocks: Water Purifier
Rewards: 1 Liquid Gold
Quest specific tips: The quest takes place in Sepulcro del Sol. The first part is deciding how you want to deal with Sol Queen, which requires a Level 93 pole. You can either stay and deal with run/stay still/offer catches, or return to Cadaver Expanse and fight off the Chief of Cadaver. You can then return to Sepulcro del Sol to fish for about two hours before the Sol Queen bothers you again.

This quest is annoying in that there are many new fish that are higher level that will cause you to miss if your pole is 1-2 levels below it. They include Adventure Fish (75), Scarab Fish / Centipede Eel Fish (80), Sacrifice Fish (83), Horus Fish (88), and Sarcophagus Squid Fish / Kimil Shark Fish (90). In order to avoid the misses you can opt to use FLC to temporarily jump your pole level, speed your pole leveling with Tournaments/FLC, or return to Cadaver Expanse and let quest boosts stack up. Ultimately the pole will max out at Lv. 90.

You can finish the first two fish being at Lv 70, but you'll have to return to work on the Adventure @Lv 75 or @Lv73 w/ red chum. (You should probably go back & buy the other pole if you haven't at this point.) Make sure you don't have this quest active at Lv 72 or Lv 80 to avoid any of the advanced fish from causing you to miss. Use tournament fishing to work on the 6-8 more levels you need depending on what chum you're using for this quest. Return around Lv 83 to catch the final two Sacrifice fish, or around Lv 81 if using love chum. You should have a good boost so you shouldn't need to use LG but go ahead if you hit Lv 85 and want to start the next quest.
Catch Req's: 16 Armadillo Fish, 10 Jackal Fish, 10 Adventure Fish, 2 Sacrifice Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Butter Beetle Cookies[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 10/10)
Recently Rubymae experimented with beetles and created a new version of Butter Pecan Cookies. We’ll let you be the judge!
Pole Req: Level 85+ Survivalist

Rewards: 2 Liquid Gold first-time, 1 Liquid Gold afterwards
Quest specific tips: Try to finish the Scarab fish ASAP to work quest boosts on the others. While the Sarcophagus Squid Fish damages your pole 6/10 times, the Priestess will ALWAYS damage your pole except through deckhand/crew trips. I believe you can only damage each type of pole once per day though. It's recommended to use LG on the Nizon Sun, as it's one of the rarest fish out there. Love chum wouldn't hurt either. Stay away until you're able to attack the Sol Queen or share your catches as they count still for quests. The quantity required is not too many, but may take around 250+ casts, with Nizon Sun being the likely bottleneck.
Catch Req's: 15 Scarab Fish, 10 Sarcophagus Squid Fish, 8 Priestess Fish, 1 Nizon Sun Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
