Parrot Fish
Description: CLUE FISH!
After travelling a large distance to Farovia, the tropical Parrot Fish led wranglers to Parribea and unveiled a new style of fishing. A parrot is typically a pirate’s pet – so is this fish helping the pirates, or did it really want to save the Ancient Mariner?

Notes:
Third Clue fish in game. Clue #3 of 4: Catch the Parrot (level 10) to unlock this clue for the Skull Key.
Find a Special Fish...
Fish with the Fancy Rifle-pole in Sig's Wasteland and you'll end up shooting down the Parrot Fish, which holds directions from the Ancient Mariner who is in peril.
While common throughout the game, this is the Task fish that helps unlock Devil's Cove once you have over 8 million points & 1 million Good/Evil points as a Clue fish. Message appears in red after unlocking Sig's Wasteland. You don't actually catch him until level 10 later though.
Trivia: Parrots are generally expensive exotic birds & first believed to be owned by the richer pirates, usually reserved for a pirate captain. It's his second set of eyes, as if there's malice in a captain's crew - the bird would likely notice it first and be able to warn a person of incoming danger. Whether this is true or not, they're believed to be kept for their intelligence & talking abilities as well as make good companions that are easy to care for.
Parrot Fish Quests
Bottled Breakfast[edit]
- Difficulty: 1/10
- Description: A blended breakfast drink overflowing with protein and tropical parrot flavors!
- Pole Requirements: Level 15 Royal Rescuer
- Quest specific tips: All of the fish may be caught in Devil's Cove but the Parrot Fish is fairly prolific in Deadwater Pass. Only go there if you have caught all of the Cattys first
- Catch Requirements: 9 Bottle Fish, 8 Eyepatch Catty Fish, 7 Parrot Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
Parrot Beaks[edit]
- Difficulty: 5/10
- Description: Bird lovers beware! This crunchy dish is considered a delicacy in some countries.
- Pole Requirements: Level 45 Royal Rescuer
- Unlocks: Target Torpedoes
- Quest specific tips: Catch the Parrot & Peg fish in Deadwater Pass, then head to Krakken Rocks where the Cannon Crab & Robber are more plentiful. The Robber Fish still come relatively quickly in Deadwater Pass so don't feel that you have to have Krakken Rocks unlocked to complete this quest in a reasonable time frame. Cannon Crabs will be your bottleneck fish and can only be caught in Devil's Cove or Krakken Rocks.
- Catch Requirements: 14 Parrot Fish, 8 Cannon Crab Fish, 7 Peg Fish, 6 Robber Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
Three Course Snack[edit]
- Difficulty: 5/10
- Description: A grilled sample platter of some of the hardiest sea life in Parribea.
- Pole Requirements: Level 45 Pyratic Plunder
- Unlocks: Bouncing Bombs
- Quest specific tips: Admiral Fish is a trouble maker here, as all the other fish (1,3,4) can be caught in Deadwater Pass(DP). Admiral fish is easier in K Rocks if you can access it. - If not, you will have to go back to Devil's Cove for them. It's best to stay there for both Parrot/Admirals, or go to DP to finish off the Parrots first. Scurvy is specific to DP so try to finish the Admiral before or after the Parrot.
- Catch Requirements: 13 Parrot Fish, 12 Admiral Fish, 8 Map Ray Fish, 5 Scurvy Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
