Description: Vampire Fish are attracted to fresh blood, foul smells, and special baits. This small devil is often found at night, sucking the blood of innocent aspiring wranglers.
Notes:
How to catch Vampire Fish:
Catch Vampire Fish using any fishing pole in Waterport. Requires the skill of Introduction of Chumming.
TIP: The fish has a higher population at 12am-1am FVT & 12pm-1pm FVT.
Even though the Vampire Fish regularly swims in WaterPort and Fishertonville waters and can be caught there at all times, many Wranglers have observed that the Vampire Fish can suddenly appear around midnight and noon FVT (GMT-7) and make a guest appearance everywhere!
In addition, while the Vampire Fish can make an appearance at night everywhere, it has been observed that they cannot be caught during a Night Fishing trip anywhere other than WaterPort.

Vampire Fish Quests
Toothpick Platter[edit]
- Difficulty: 8/10
- Description: Assortment of the finest Waterport specialties, served on one dish.
- Pole Requirements: Level 50 Oak Branch
- Unlocks: Rotisserie Chicken
- Quest specific tips: It may be beneficial to not add-on to your pole when starting this quest - this adds new fish, which some believe reduces the odds of catching the fish required in this quest. Stay in WaterPort for the whole quest since none of the quest fish are in Fishertonville. Start this quest using Steak Chum until you get ALL the Vampire Fish. This may take up to 250-300 casts. Then, at this point you can start adding-on to your pole, and use your best chum: Red Love Chum, Fish Guts Chum or Steak Chum, and fish until you have caught all the Tortoise and Twigs. To finish the remaining Ninjas - use the Dojo Mojo Ninja attractant and your best chum.
- Catch Requirements: 2 Twig Fish, 5 Ninja Fish, 10 Vampire Fish, 9 Sea Tortoise Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
Escapist Filet[edit]
- Difficulty: 8/10
- Description: Tender piece of mouth-watering houdini fish with a thick baja sauce from Chipotle Farovia.
- Pole Requirements: Level 50 Broken Standard
- Unlocks: Rump Roast
- Quest specific tips: Using Steak, fish until you get ALL the Vampire Fish. After, switch to your best chum then fish until you have caught all the Cornucopia Fish and Houdini Fish. To finish the remaining Ninja Fish use a Dojo Mojo to attract the Ninja Fish with your best chum. This quest may take 500+ casts to finish. (Note: Augmenting your pole adds new fish, which slightly reduces the odds of catching the fish in quests 1-3. Try to finish it before Lv 54 when the Duct Tape Eel Fish may start stealing your chum) Vampire Fish can be caught anywhere between 12-1 in Farovian waters.
- Catch Requirements: 4 Houdini Fish, 5 Ninja Fish, 10 Vampire Fish, 10 Cornucopia Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
