adding WaterPier fish and stuff

I added a bunch of stuff to the WaterPier section, basically the five Camo Branch fish. Please help take a look and see if I got that right.

1) I had a problem with trying to get the chum preference set to "-" as with other fish that have no preference. I didn't see how to do that in the FishInfo box or the What fish template. If I removed "prefers" in their FishInfo box I get an error. 2) They're missing the pictures, either hidden or revealed, so that could be added when someone gets around to catching it.

There are a bunch of WaterPort fish that are also part of WaterPier, so I added their Population status. They aren't getting picked up by WaterPier category though. Is there another template or something that picks it up based on the Population?

The island categories for each fish is auto populated using the Template:FishInfobox by adding that towards the bottom of that template. I have not edited that Template since Breakfast Bay ... so Claustro Cave, WaterPier, Fishertonburg all need to be added. And might as well go ahead and include Blue Caldera while you are at it. If for some reason that changes name later or w/e, we can simply edit and fix it when released, but that is likely what it will be. You can simply see how it is done and copy it with inserting the correct category name needed. It just uses an 'IF' call command and searches for the name in all FishInfobox templates we use, and 'IF' it finds that name in the field (or its true) then it creates the appropriate category on its created fish page. I will go ahead and get rid of all the categories you manually edited in, so when you do that correctly in the template it should have no conflict errors.

1) Hmm :/ I should know this but not recalling how the "-" chum worked atm. Thought that was done in the Fish Summary page, but will have to tinker around with that one. It might be on one of the templates that Fish Summary pages uses, but if so that should have auto transcluded it over automatically. Idk, will have a look in a lil while to figure that out.

2) Yea I started to get hidden images saved on my pc and was going to upload them all when that was done. I already started with Claustro Cave, then was going to get all the new stealth fish as well. 1) An easy fix, one that I should have recalled lol. For some odd reason in how these templates / tables are coded, it does not like anything edited outside of the actual infobox when it goes to be displayed inside of tables. I am sure that can be resolved, but is beyond my knowledge. Anyway simply removing the [[category:island_name]] from the page which was outside of the infobox at the bottom resolved the chum "-" not correctly displaying in the tables.

Side Note: after adding the categories in the FishInfobox template, we might need to do some minor edit on all the fish pages to force those pages to reprocess with new infobox template changes. This can be done with the 'purge' action command or just by a minor edit making no actual changes. Bit different then Fandom so not sure how it will behave, but we can do the purge action if needed. Error creating thumbnail

Wiki is reporting this error for a lot of the pictures: Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination

Hmm interesting. Some of the article pages are displaying the images just fine, yet looking at the image file page itself also results in this error. For example Fancy Rifle-pole Quests displays all the images fine, yet looking at File:Pole3.jpg and File:Quest9.gif displayed on Fancy Rifle-pole Quests page is also resulting in that error. Strange. I think I just seen this error a couple of days ago in MediaWiki along with several other common errors. Now I just have to figure out where that was. That was easy, it is on the Manual:Common errors and symptoms page. Now just to work out why and what changed recently to just start causing this. Wonder if our Wiki also got migrated to the new servers Joe got, but I also recall looking at License page somewhere here in FW Wiki too. Kevin "Hawk" Fisher (talk) 06:00, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

I fixed this error .... ok I lied. I had Joe fix it :P He needed to look at $wgTmpDirectory and make sure that temp file existed. That is not accessible from web or public, so only Joe could look at that on the webservers. Apparently the issue was another chinese overrunning and exploiting that part of the server to run crypto mining software. While I was at I had Joe upgrade to latest version. Winter Quest and SBQ FLC rewards

Can you help find where it states the Winter Feast Quest FLC reward is one-time only? Was there a forum post to that, as I don't see it in the description. Also what about SBQ FLC rewards? Are they also one-time? For the LG ones for the last regular pole quest, the first time it shows reward 2 LG, and then afterwards it shows 1 LG. If you look at the main Feast quests, such as SBQ - Feast Quests, you will not see it. Or it is not displayed. Looking at it from the pole quest page you could see it. Could being the key word, as I do not see it now. There used to be something like a ? or a What? at the end of the rewards and clicking on that expanded where it showed message that FLC is only given upon the first completion. But I can not see it now or can not find it now. Maybe because I have not done this quest yet. Or I wonder if it is due to Joe recent tweaks when he updated so that it now shows a list of your crew at bottom, and that fell off or something, Idk. But trust me it was there when you could see it and expanded it. As of now all I can do is provide a log of when someone turns it in.

RubyMae rewarded me with the Winter FEAST Dish! (Received the 608th one ever!) Completed quest for my 11th time in 452.25 mins! (My record time was 74.98 mins) SBQ Reward: FLC is only given upon 1st completion., 3600 Shells (had 124162, have 127762), 22 Deckhand Voucher (had 4,741), 8 Old Jug of Rum (had 189), 8x Quest Boost for 9 hrs, 1x Auto-Fish for 24 hrs! 

I will have to enquire from someone that knows about these Feast quests more then I do and get back to you.

As to SBQ's, I have never noticed or recall seeing that on the SBQ. But I just might not have noticed. I have only done one SBQ more then once (Magma Reef) and no longer recall if I did or not. As to LG, yes that is always the case that you get 1 less down to 0 if you do that quest more then once. This is explained on the Quests page Quests#Why_didn.27t_I_receive_Liquid_Gold_when_completing_the_final_quest.3F as well as on Liquid Gold page. It looks like another player answered it. This Wiki has the comments about SBQ in Quests so that part's fine, but the comment is not updated in the game FAQ itself or reflected on the quest page for reward when you're ready to try the quest a second time or heads up that the FLC part is one-time only. 😸Miyuki (talk) 21:57, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Well we can request that gets added to in game FAQ. The issue is those periodically get tweaked by Joe where he adds some and gets rid of others. So there is no telling how long it would last in game. Pretty much all the FAQ portions here in Wiki (FAQ, Quests/FAQ, Mo Tourny/FAQ, and decent portion of many other pages like Poles, etc) came from in game FAQ that used to be there in game once upon a time or another. About half of them or more can no longer be found in game. Part of the reason why it is good that even if Joe happens to remove them in game, one can still always find them here in Wiki. But it definitely needs to be reflected on those Quests itself so players can see that before starting it. I am a bit surprised I have not seen any complaints from players in forums wondering where their FLC is when doing a Feast quest more then once. And imho more prominent then what it was before with a short lil link that expanded. Was to easy to miss that.Kevin "Hawk" Fisher (talk) 07:47, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

La Terranea hidden pics

Hi Kevin,

Are you able to snap the pictures of the hidden fish for the La Terranea areas? It's the ones that are fuzzed out for uncaught and cleared for caught.

Also are you able to see the hidden pole augments for those La Terranea poles? I copied the clear pic for the base pole, but if you want to create the blurred pic from that, I can supply links to the poles and the augments.

I was starting to copy some of the starter fish there such as Olivo Fish but they probably should be hidden. 😸Miyuki (talk) 03:22, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Yes I will have to save and upload fish images later. I have had the Fish of Illa de Porta page open for over a week now and not gotten around to doing that yet.
