Purchasing the new skill

The talk about "not buying the skill" seems useless, there is no real benefit of not buying it. Why waste 5 whole paragraphs of speculation and confusing people with that? A "could have caught" or "xx stole" message is always better than "did not catch": It levels your pole, and if you use RLC, you still get it back. The benefit of "not getting frustrated if your pole levels" is dubious at best

Also, the first sentence in this paragraph makes no sense (at least to me), "remaining fish can be caught without the skill"?

Maybe I don't understand the point that is being made, so I'm not changing it, but revising or deleting the whole topic might make the "How to Play" section a lot clearer... --Jayberwock 15:27, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

I know and realize this is a very old post, in which might no longer even be playing. However, if so or for others in the future that read this post. The point has since been rectified with revising edits (Dec 3, '09) of the neglected option of possibly needing to choose between purchasing the next pole add-on vs purchasing the new skill. Both in the title of the sub-heading as well as in body of text. As this area could be unlocked and fished in once wranglers reached pole level 69+ yet due to many players possibly struggling with limited amounts of gold at this stage, might have to choose purchasing one or the other. So in other words if a wrangler is fishing in this island before pole level 83, there is not much need to purchase the new skill yet. But instead to purchase the level 74 pole add-on. As well as possibly considering to purchase the next add-on at level 85 as well. So hopefully this section is no longer still confusing to wranglers.
