Deadwater Saloon is home to the dangerous Saloon Girl...

Saloon Girl sporadically visits wranglers fishing in Deadwater Saloon.
When making a cast and she approaches, you will see the following message:

"The Saloon Girl is nearby... Deadwater Saloon is home to the dangerous Saloon Girl..."

Select an option!

• Stay calm and don't move.
• Take off and run.
• Offer my next few catches. (depends on the Saloon Girl's hunger)
• Attack with your Great Equalizer / Kolenya Pole! (works best with a level 75+ Great Equalizer/Kolenya)

The last option changes depending on which pole (Great Equalizer or Kolenya) you are currently using.

Outcomes

Wranglers can gain or lose silver depending on the option chosen, pole level and chance at gaining collectible items. Examples of possible outcomes for choosing each option are provided below:

Option 1: stay still

Option 2: run away

• Yes! Gained X silver from Saloon Girl
  * No! Saloon Girl took 4,000+ silver from me. (You will be sent back to Amadahy Plains)

Option 3: offer catches

• "The Saloon Girl accepted the offer and is waiting for my next catch. Gained 993 silver from the Saloon Girl! Found the Shotgun Shells!"

* Yes! The Saloon Girl isn't hungry and wanted to see what I'd say!
* Yes! The Saloon Girl was just testing me and isn't hungry!
* Yes! Saloon Girl appreciated my kind gesture and decided not to take my next catch because I'm such a classy wrangler!

Note: Saloon Girl will take your next 1-3 catches (excluding crew and captain trips). You will not receive points, silver, or pole experience for these catches. You will receive quest credit for the fish if otherwise applicable. Marie, the Mad Patient, Hank, the homeless villain , or any of the other villains in Farovia/Roperia will accept catches on behalf of Saloon Girl if you travel away.

Option 4: fight back

Great Equalizer has the same messages as Kolenya for now.

Successful fight:

• "Yes! I defeated the Saloon Cowgirl with my inner native Kolenya abilities! Gained 451 silver from the Saloon Girl! Failed to get Whiskey!"
• "Yes! I defeated the Saloon Cowgirl with my inner native Kolenya abilities! Gained 451 silver from the Saloon Girl! Found the Used Badge!"
• "Yes! I defeated the Saloon Cowgirl with my inner native Kolenya abilities! Gained 458 silver from the Saloon Girl! Found the Whiskey!"

Saloon Girl Collectable Set

Collectables are a "glory award" / "achievement award" that wranglers can show off. There are a set of collectibles related to Saloon Girl, which vary in rarity.

Cards
"Old West saloons are filled with cowboys playing card games. Wranglers need to get their poker faces ready!"
This collectable may be randomly dropped when choosing "Take off and run" and escaping Saloon Girl

Boa
"Ooh La La! A popular accessory among Saloon Girls, the red-feathered Boa is typically used during nightly performances across Dodge River."
Randomly gained after choosing "Stay calm and don't move" and successfully hiding from Saloon Girl

Shotgun Shells
"Sweep a Saloon’s floor, and you’re guaranteed to find a few Shotgun Shells."
Randomly gained after choosing "Give my catches" and having it be accepted.

Used Badge
"Worn by police in Dodge River, wranglers may have trouble finding this item in Deadwater Saloon."
Randomly gained after successfully "Defend / Stab with your Great Equalizer / Kolenya"

Whiskey
"Causing countless blurry evenings among the cowboy crowd, Whiskey can be found in every saloon across the region."
Randomly gained after successfully "Defend / Stab with your Great Equalizer / Kolenya"

Turning in the Saloon Girl Collection will yield 1 Liquid Gold and 11 Deckhand Vouchers. There is also a Completion of Zyrbelia given.(not sure what this means??)

Tips

Use your higher level pole for your encounter with Saloon Girl so you have a better chance at Defending.

Saloon Girl is linked to the other encounters in terms of how often she appears. If you have interacted with others and already chose an option, you should be free from encountering Saloon Girl for about two hours. She will collect the silver and points if you offered catches from another encounter.

Choosing the Defend option will get you chances at the later items in the collection so you can trade down to complete the set.

Saloon Girl is one of three encounters in Roperia where the collection set will net you a Liquid Gold. The other two are Sol Queen and Escaped Prisoner.
