Mosquito Warrior
Mosquito Warrior sporadically visits wranglers fishing in Mosquito Run.
When making a cast and she approaches, you will see the following message:
"The Mosquito Warrior is nearby... Mosquito Run is home to the dangerous Mosquito Warrior..."
"What do you want to do?"
You are given 4 options:
# Stay calm and don't move.
# Take off and run.
# Offer my next few catches. (depends on Mosquito Warrior's hunger)
# Offer purified water! / Stick her with your Tusk Pole! (Requires level 23 Survivalist/Poacherist)/(works best with a level 25+ Survivalist/Poacherist)
The last option changes depending on which pole (Survivalist or Poacherist) you are currently using
Outcomes[edit]
Wranglers can gain or lose silver depending on the option chosen, pole level and chance at gaining collectible items. Examples of possible outcomes for choosing each option are provided below. Silver values will vary:

Choosing option 1:

Choosing option 2:
- The Mosquito Warrior is chasing after me... (refresh!)
- Yes! I got away and fled to a nearby location. Gained 363 silver from the Mosquito Warrior! Failed to get Golden Idol!
- No! I couldn't get away from the hot grasp of the Mosquito Warrior! Took 3,528 silver from me. (refresh!) (You will be sent back to Mosquito Run)
Choosing option 3:
- The Chief is trying to understand what I'm saying... (refresh!)
- The lovely Chief accepted the offer and is waiting for my next catch. Gained 803 silver from the Mosquito Warrior! Failed to get X !
- The lovely Chief accepted the offer and is waiting for my next catch. Gained 799 silver from the Mosquito Warrior! Found the X !
Note: Mosquito Warrior will take your next 1-3 catches (excluding crew and captain trips). You will not receive points, silver, or pole experience for these catches. You will receive quest credit for the fish if otherwise applicable. Flying Penguin, Mosquito Warrior, El Bandito, or or any of the other villains in Farovia/Roperia will accept catches on behalf of Mosquito Warrior if you travel away.

- “Yes! I poached the Mosquito Warrior with my superb Poaching abilities! Gained 262 silver from the Mosquito Warrior! Failed to get Tusk Earrings!”
Mosquito Warrior collection[edit]
Collectables are a "glory award" / "achievement award" that wranglers can show off. There are a set of collectibles related to Mosquito Warrior, which vary in rarity.
Acai Branch (Kinda Rare)
"Mosquito Warriors receive their nutrition from Acai - the most popular berry of the jungle!"
This collectable may be randomly dropped when choosing "Take off and run" and escaping the Mosquito Warrior
Jaguar Pelt (Fairly Rare)
"Beautiful jaguar fur is composed into a piece of clothing."
Randomly gained after choosing "Stay calm and don't move" and successfully hiding from Mosquito Warrior
Macaw Feather (Rare)
"The rainbow-colored Macaw Feather brings good luck to wranglers throughout Mosquito Run."
Randomly gained after choosing "Give my catches" and having it be accepted.
Tusk Earrings (Very Rare)
"Made out of elephant ivory, the Tusk Earrings are certainly a fashion statement!"
Randomly gained after successfully attacking the Mosquito Warrior
Warrior Bow (Extremely Rare)
"The Warrior Bow is used by natives to hunt prey throughout the jungle region.
Randomly gained after successfully attacking the Mosquito Warrior
Turning in the Mosquito Warrior Collection will yield access to Cadaver Expanse & (4) Liquid Light & (4) Caffeine Pills
Tips[edit]
Use your higher level pole for your encounter with Mosquito Warrior so you have a better chance at Purifying/Defending.
Mosquito Warrior is linked to the other encounters in terms of how often she appears. If you have interacted with others and already chose an option, you should be free from encountering Mosquito Warrior for about two hours. She will collect the silver and points if you offered catches from another encounter.
Choosing the Defend option will get you chances at the later items in the collection so you can trade down to complete the set.
