Below is a list of the quests available for the Handline. The objectives are shown as aggregate weight needed instead of quantity of fish. As you catch the fish, the report may show some high numbers such as "86753 Quest Catches left" representing approximately how much weight of fish in oz. you still need to catch.

Rewards: Unlocks Storyline
Quest specific tips: All of the fish can be found at Rainbow Rising. Note that the Big Ears Fish requires a level 29 pole, so unless you don't mind a long delay before finishing, you will want to get your pole close to that level first. Octomaid and Fanged Camo prefer Sardine Chum and Swashbuckled and Big Ears prefer Mullet Chum

Muscle Meat Extreme[edit]

The flesh of all these fish are rich in special performamce enhancing vitamins and minerals, perfect preperation for the big fish that wait ahead.

Rewards: Unlocks Storyline
Quest specific tips: All these fish are found in Rainbow Rubble. The maximum number of fish required IF only catching all minimum weight fish is; 33 Gireels, 20 Reciprifish, 27 Spotted Gars, 20 Bramble Rays, and 33 Blue Unicorns. But should be less as will likely catch some fish above the min weight. Gireel prefer Mullet Chum, Reciprifish, Spotted Gar and Brambleray prefer Squidy Chum, and Blue Unicorn prefers Sardine Chum. Since Gireel weigh the most and will be finished off first, the quest will make it appear that you're 90% done with it, even though you still have more fish to go.

Queen's Skewers[edit]

The Mermaid Shark's trident releases a healing aura when hot, paired with a hot old BBQ and some tasty fish, you have yourself a perfect fish skewer!
Pole Req: Level 64+ Handline


Rewards: Unlocks Storyline
Quest specific tips: Fishing takes place in Rainbow Rubble. The maximum number of fish required IF only catching all minimum weight fish is; 34 Parrot Puffers, 52 Spikeys, 17 Lonely Souls, 10 Silver Ribbons, and 3 Mermaids. But should be less as will likely catch some fish above the min weight. Parrot Puffer and Spikey le Blue prefer Sardine Chum; Lonely Soul and Silver Ribbon prefer Mullet Chum; and Mermaid Shark at pole level 70 prefers Squidy Chum. Should take about 250-400 casts, depending on how many whiffs you get on your pole level, but this also means the pole leveling may be slow. Record times to make the top 100 are between 4-24 hours.

Coral Crisps[edit]

We infuse the coral fragments with the blood and oil of other fish to soften the coral and infuse them with cleansing bacteria found within these oils, to help put you at peace
Pole Req: Level 84+ Handline


Rewards: Unlocks Storyline
Quest specific tips: Fishing takes place at Rainbow Ridge, although you could catch Samurai Sail and Articulator at Rainbow Rubble. The Coral Shark Fish requires a pole level of 90, so it is probably not worth doing this for speed until you have reached that or use pole level of 88 and Love Chum. Jawlock Angler prefers Squidy Chum, but the rest do not have a chum preference.

The fins of all these fish carry unique substances not known to mankind, all we know is that they taste great and make you feel groovy!

Rewards: 2 Liquid Gold first time, 1 Liquid Gold afterwards
Quest specific tips: Fishing takes place at Rainbow Ridge. The maximum number of fish required IF only catching all minimum weight fish is: 29 Camel Ray, 4 Racer Dolphin, 29 Firebelly, 3 Eelee, and 1 Ragged Sawfish. Camel Ray and Racer Dolphin prefer Mullet Chum, Firebelly and Ragged Sawfish prefer Sardine Chum; and Eelee prefers Squidy Chum. The Ragged Sawfish requires a level 110 pole.
