After a wet spring in Gettysburg, I noticed a musty smell in my basement and found black mold spreading along the drywall near the old fieldstone foundation. A local specialist came out, inspected the moisture problem, and safely removed the mold without damaging the historic structure. They also advised me on improving ventilation to prevent it from coming back. It was a relief to have the air smell clean again, especially with family visiting for the battle reenactments.
