Catch Procedure[edit]
- The Ghatanothoa Fish can be caught using both the Eldritch and the Innsmouth Suit at Yuggoth.
- A minimum pole level of Level 110 on both poles is required.
Boss Fish[edit]
- The Ghatanothoa Fish is a BOSS!
- As a boss fish, you will have to use the wrangling meter scheme to reel it in. The wrangling meter is a mini-game where you have to press and release the button to keep the needle in the middle range as the timer counts down.
Multi-Pole[edit]
- The Ghatanothoa Fish is a Multi-Pole Fish.
- You need a minimum pole level of Level 110 on both the Eldritch and the Innsmouth Suit.
- Upon catching it with one pole, you have 15 minutes to switch poles and cast a FISH NOW! to complete the catch.
Task Fish[edit]
- The Ghatanothoa Fish is a TASK FISH!
- This will unlock chapter 13 in The Story of Eldritch Islands Adventure, and will be able to proceed to the next area, Plateau of Leng
- **Chapter #13**: Eldritch Islands: I'm starting to think I should have just enjoyed another seasonal brew at the Fall Festival! Reel in Ghatanothoa (Cult Boss of Yuggoth) with the new wrangling meter - which is only used for BOSS fish! You will need to use both poles to catch it, and to use the Boss Meter reeling in scheme.
