Draconectes Fish Quests

Black Pudding[edit]

Left

  • Difficulty: 2/10
  • Description: Whoa-o black pudding, bam-ba-lam! Whoa-o black pudding, bam-ba-lam! Try just a slice, bam-ba-lam! The Irish think it's nice, bam-ba-lam!
  • Pole Requirements: Level 0 Cave Spear

  • Quest specific tips: The first two fish of Cave Leech and Barbatula should come fairly easily, with habitat of Fairly Prolific and Numerous respectively. The last Draconectes will likely be your bottle neck fish. With a population of Rare and more importantly needing a minimum pole level requirement of 9 in order to catch.

It is highly recommended to hold off starting this quest until you have gained some levels, like around pole level 6 or so. Otherwise one might find being unable to catch any quest fish for awhile and needing to level up their Cave Spear before you can catch the remaining last fish.

Boudin Noir[edit]

Left

  • Difficulty: 3/10
  • Description: This Farovian version of the classic French blood sausage has a complex, savory, haunting flavor. It's perfect when you need something to sink your teeth into after binging on Halloween candy!
  • Pole Requirements: Level 9+ Cave Spear

  • Quest specific tips: Again the last Triplophysa requires +10 pole levels higher then the starting quest requirement. Even the second Oreonectes requires +5 pole levels higher. It is recommended to hold off starting this quest until one levels up their pole more. Should take about a day, but you can also go for a speed record.
  • Catch Requirements: 12 Draconectes Fish, 10 Oreonectes Fish, 13 Triplophysa Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
