Using repellents such as Boo Juice, K9 Pheromone and Antifreeze Protein (AP) will block out 2-3 of Fairly Prolific fishes and let you catch the rarer fishes easier. This method may be costly in the long run, and won't guarantee quick success (Note: you can only use two at any time). Thus, it may be advisable to only use some, or no resources at all, according to your budget. Boo juice is best choice, blocking two fish at a cost of 10 shells.
