As this is a multi-pole fish you'll need both [[Eldritch]] and [[Innsmouth Suit]] to be level 80 and catch it using Liquid Gold.

October is here and it's my favorite time of the year! Who doesn't enjoy cooler temperatures, changing leaves, bonfires, caramel apples & pumpkins? I'm about to leave the Farovian Fall Festival when I overhear some wranglers chatting about a haunted cove near Innsmouth. Despite having a few Pumpkin Tarpits in me, I still shiver at the memories of the Eldritch Islands.

Knock over torch?
<blockquote>
Eldritch Islands: I awake to the sound of people chanting. When my vision clears, I'm horrified to see that priests in dark red robes surround me in a circle. I'm bound to a black stone altar in a torchlit, dungeon-like basement. Even more appalling, I'm tied up with my own fishing gear – every wrangler's nightmare come true!

Unlocked Chapter#12 - Part #2: Saving Grace!
Just when the head priest pulls out a nasty looking dagger and I’m sure I’m about to fileted like a salmon… I hear a familiar voice yell “Stop, you creeps!” Sailor Stu of all people runs in wearing black tactical fatigues and night vision goggles. He’s holding an Icemaster 5000 fire extinguisher from Magma Reef. He swings the extinguisher and breaks the priest’s nose with a solid hit, then blasts their torches out! In the ensuing chaos, Stu cuts me loose ...

Catch the multi-pole [[Ghatanothoa Fish]] in Yuggoth and use the wrangling meter to reel it in.

<blockquote>
After defeating Ghatanothoa in Yuggoth via the new wrangling meter Earl created, Sailor Stu commends my hard work.
    “Great job, Wrangler!” he says. “Looks like you’re ready for the next challenge: the Plateau of Leng.”
    “Leng?” I ask. “Where’s that?”
    “Get in the boat, and I’ll show you!”
    As we’re traveling there, our boat hits some choppy waves. Stu’s canvas bag falls over and a bunch of vials of green liquid roll out. He fumbles them together and starts talking gibberish about infiltrating the cult.
    There’s a knot of suspicion in my gut, but Stu has been my friend for years. So I accept what he’s telling me, even though it sounds unbelievable.
    Soon, we arrive at the Plateau and I’m ready for my next Ritual!

Voyage to [[Plateau of Leng]]

<blockquote>
My days on the Plateau of Leng have been LONG. I'm not certain if it’s because my nerves are wrecked from all the spiders and spookiness surrounding me, but my suspicions of Stu are growing every day. I’m worried he’s up to something really shady.
    Yesterday, I was following a Turtle Leng Spider when it turned into a hidden inlet that led to an occult laboratory in a cave. I spotted Stu leaving the cave … he was wearing a white lab coat and carrying a crate that looked like it held test tubes, octopus tentacles, and a microscope. There was some kind of green liquid in the tubes … and then I remembered the vials he had on our boat trip.
    All night I had weird visions of Stu in an Orbuculum … and I awoke with the realization that I need to get to the bottom of this.
    (Maybe a little image of Deckhand Diego thinking with his finger to his chin… with three thinking bubbles above him.. One with vials, one with tentacles and then the orbuculum with Stu’s face in it)
    I decide to head back to the laboratory. The room is empty so I crouch down and wait patiently. What am I going to do if I see him? I have no idea, but I start to feel a little crazy.
    I wait for what seems like hours… and then right before sunset, I hear footsteps coming and there in front of me is Stu!
    I jump out and startle him - he falls backwards and crashes into lab equipment. Glass shards scatter everywhere and instead of making sure he’s OK, I reach for my fishing line and start tying him up! Karma certainly was not working in his favor as he just recently rescued me from this exact same scenario.
    “STOP! What are you doing to me?”, Stu cries out with blood stains and glass shards all over his lab coat.
    “I know you’re not who you say you are! I’ve seen you with your vials and your lab coat.. ” I start screaming, still unsure where this is all coming from but it somehow feels right.
    All of a sudden I feel a rumble across all of the Plateau of Leng and Stu starts chuckling… “Your suspicions are true.. Years on this island pushed my insanity to the limits and I took over as Cult Leader. I just needed a wrangler to do the hard part in catching all the fish so I could…” Stu stopped himself before he could finish the sentence, and then tentacles reached down and Stu vanished from the sky.
    HOLY GUACAMOLE! What in the world just happened?! Could this place be any creepier? I feel like we are in grave danger and I must finish the Ritual ASAP before something worse happens.

Complete the Mutant Ritual quest.

<blockquote>
I kicked it into high gear and completed the Mutant Ritual. Just when I was ready to get out of this terrifying place, I noticed the fire from the ritual had casted a glow on the nearby cove. I went closer and realized it was a map of Eldritch Islands. I recognized Innsmouth, Yuggoth, Plateau and one final spot that I had to reach on my tippy toes - the Roof of the World.<br/>
The map showed a trail from the Plateau through the steep mountain to this new final destination. I figure I’ve made it this far… why not keep going. I can look on the bright side and say I no longer have a fear of spiders.

What started as an optimistic journey to the Roof of the World turned sketchy rather quickly. The pathway was dark and slippery from the recent rain.. Embarking with high hopes for the Roof of the World, the journey took a precarious turn all too soon. The path, treacherously slick from recent rains, betrayed me an hour in. This place feels like the eerie setting of legends whispered in hushed tones around campfires. Cobwebs in every corner, chilling echoes with every step, and an oppressive air of lingering dread. The nights are long and full of terror. I can’t take another night in this place. Dawn is beginning to break as I write… I think I see the top of the mountain in the distance. These nights, they test one's mettle in ways unimaginable. The promise of dawn beckons, revealing what might be the peak's silhouette. Next Step: As I step onto the Roof of the World, an aura of age-old riddles envelops me. The winds murmur ancient tales, and the mountain peak with its tentacle-surrounded orb hints at challenges ahead. An old tablet with images of uniquely-eyed fish draws my curiosity. Eldritch Islands: I'm starting to think I should have just enjoyed another seasonal brew at the Fall Festival! Reel in Ghatanothoa (Cult Boss of Yuggoth) with the new wrangling meter - which is only used for BOSS fish!
Upon Diego's initial step onto the Roof of the World, the atmosphere around him is palpable with ancient secrets. The chilling winds weave tales of forgotten times, and the mountain's peak displays an eye-like orb, surrounded by tentacles, that pulses with an unsettling energy.<br/>
As Diego delves deeper into this enigma, he discovers an age-worn tablet, partially obscured by nature. The etchings on the tablet showcase various fish endemic to this region, each distinguished by an unusual eye. A realization dawns upon him: these fish, once caught, will bestow upon him an 'Evil Eye'. Diego comprehends that collecting these eyes is essential to unlocking the mountain's mysteries.
