The Story of Roboton
Chapter #1: The Summons[edit]
Roboton: A Robo-Seagull just dropped a letter from Earl! He says he has 'an idea to make millions of gold' and forgot to include his location. BetsyLou at Waterport might know where he went...
Head to Waterport, then Ask Betsylou about Earl https://fishwrangler.com/my?ro=ask-betsylou
BetsyLou knows where Earl went! BetsyLou shakes her head. “Earl? Oh, he went to that tech island everyone's talking about. Took half my good rope and all of my patience with him. Here's the map.”
Journal entry is as follows:
Diego is enjoying a quiet day of fishing when a Robo-Seagull from the 'New Robo-Seagull Mail Co.' dives down and drops a letter at his feet. It's from Earl. He says he has 'an idea to make millions of gold' and asks Diego to meet him immediately - but forgot to include his location. Diego heads to Waterport, where BetsyLou explains that a mysterious tech-loving founder named Sir Sigfr-AI-ed recently opened a 'Future Island' nearby. Everyone has been moving there for the advanced technology. Earl went hoping to build futuristic gadgets and strike it rich. BetsyLou hands Diego a map to the island.
Chapter #2: First Contact with Fish-Bots[edit]
Roboton: BetsyLou says Earl sailed to a mysterious 'Future Island' run by a tech founder named Sir Sigfr-AI-ed. Robots everywhere - some helpful, most not. She hands you a map. “Be careful out there.”

Map in hand! Set sail for BetaBay. The map is crude but legible. Earl circled something labeled 'Robot Paradise' and drew a tiny stick figure of himself surrounded by gold coins. Classic Earl.
Roboton: BetaBay, Roboton's gateway island, lies just beyond the horizon. Time to set sail and find Earl!

Roboton: You've arrived at BetaBay. Earl says: “Buy one of me poles and start catchin' them fish-bots - I need the scrap!” Grab the Auto-Mate or Basilisk Protocol and reel in the easy bots round the dock.
Journal entry is as follows
Diego arrives at BetaBay - the gateway island that Sigfr-AI-ed shipped before it was ready. The brochure called it 'the future.' Up close it's robots sweeping the water, watering the rocks, and walking confidently into walls. Welcome to early access. He finds Earl in a makeshift camp. Earl explains the robots have gone haywire and the transport boats to the main island have stopped. Massive 'impossible' waves surround the main island, trapping everyone. Earl plans to build a Unsinkable.exe but needs high-tech scrap.
The robot fish of BetaBay are... interesting. They have jobs, opinions, and a worrying amount of confidence for machines that can't tell the difference between a rock and a customer. Diego starts catching them for scrap parts, and Earl starts tinkering. Every piece brings them closer to launching Unsinkable.exe - assuming Earl's wiring holds.
Chapter #3: TBD[edit]
Roboton: You've arrived at BetaBay. Earl says: “Buy one of me poles and start catchin' them fish-bots - I need the scrap!” Grab the Auto-Mate or Basilisk Protocol and reel in the easy bots round the dock.
Buy a Roboton pole. Either the Auto-Mate or the Basilisk Protocol
