Sadly, there is no way to directly increase the frequency of an Emo showing up. However, you CAN decrease the frequency of other fish nibbling on your hook, which is nearly the same thing.
1. Fish in Fishertonville. The Emo is more prolific here, and it is easier to control the other fish. 2. Use Fish Guts chum. This will keep the appearance rate of other fish from being doubled, owrsening chances of getting an Emo. If you don't have access to Fish Guts yet, use Steak Chum, as it affects only rare fish. 3. Use Antifreeze Protein. This will eliminate one of the more common fish.
