Fishy's Edits[edit]
Sorry again for fudging stuff up.
Should it be redirecting like this?
- redirect Fancy Rifle-Pole (Quests)#Fish Tacos
Are templates. The ones with the curly brackets?

Could this disambig thing be used on the Waterport page i made until it gets deleted? But with the links to the island page and the quest page underneath?
I won't do anything till I am 100% sure what needs to be done. Then I will go back and try to repair it.

- It's all good; you don't have to apologize. Like I said, if you'd asked, it would've saved you quite a bit of work. But what's done is done, so to salvage it, you can do a few things.
- First, you can use the re-directs as you posted, that's perfectly fine. While it'll create more pages due to the links in-game (the View On Wiki links) that lead to the Wiki, it'll at least solve the issue you're trying to solve.
- For the SBQ...the SBQs are all named after the locations they use, so the WaterPort SBQ (edited by AMNeSia (talk) 00:09, 25 September 2025 (CDT)) just uses the WaterPort name, which doesn't work well since the locations are already named as such and name on the Wiki are case-sensitive. You can see how I edited the SBQ to be added here, but unfortunately, there's no way to have 2 pages of the same name (with the same capitalization) to exist on the Wiki and the location takes precedence.
- Though now, seeing the 'Oak Branch Quests' page, apparently all the quests are templates. Which is not the best thing; the template exists for pre-existing stuff that needs to be replicated; since the quests have differing details, you have to either individually put the quests in OR...create a stock template that DOES NOT have any quest details except for 'N/A' in all fields. Then, you can replicate the template by using
{{subst:TemplateName}}to copy a static copy and modify the fields as needed for the poles and fish and rewards as needed. More details can be found on MediaWiki.

- The disambiguation page is an interesting idea as well, which gives me another plan...changing the WaterPort page to WaterPort (Location) and the other page being WaterPort (Quest). That way, you can use the disambiguation page to re-direct further, which is not a bad idea. Honestly, I didn't think about it, which is a skill issue on my part.
- Of course, the links to the WaterPort locale will need to be changed everywhere, but that's a tiny under-taking compared to enabling simplicity via disambiguation.
- Let me know if there's anything you need; my own knowledge of Wiki editing is limited and MediaWiki is how I'm managing anything, to begin with.
- P.S.: When editing pages, do provide a summary that's below the main edit box; it helps others know what and why you edited. Minor edits are fine without summaries, if you want (I know it can get inane), but for major edits, do provide a summary definitively.
- Another P.S.: You can just sign yourself using four tildes (~~~~); that way you can just identify yourself easily. Also might want to log in. AMNeSia (talk) 09:35, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
Am I not logged in 🤣 I'll have to do that. I'll get to work on the redirects in a bit.

- Yes, you aren't; it's why your IP address shows rather than the user-name, like me. And it seems you already have an account, over at here. You can long in to that account and use your own talk page as well, just like how a talk page appears near my name. AMNeSia (talk) 13:38, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
I think I got all the redirects 🤞 I'll double check tomorrow and I'll find my login details from on my computer.
