Suave Fish Quests

Steamed Goat Milk[edit]

Left

  • Difficulty: 1/10
  • Description: Elderly wranglers seem to love this little breakfast dish. Others wonder why it's still on the menu.
  • Pole Requirements: Level 10 Steam Powered Hydro-pole

  • Quest specific tips: Both Hate and Suave can be caught using attractants, if you do not have any Vials of Bile and Hair Gel and no means to exchange for them, you may want to try another quest. There are two ways to do this quest: Catching the Hate and Suave using the attractants with your best chum, and after that catching Tiger Sharks will be easier with the 1.5x quest boost or using love chums. A more frugal way is to use Fish Guts Chum and fish until the Tiger Sharks are done, and then finish the remaining fish with attractants - both methods are very effective, since the RLC bonus attracts the "top 4" rarest fish (which doesn't include Tiger Shark). Since the latter two fish are Fairly Prolific population, it would be cost efficient to catch the Hate later on.
  • Catch Requirements: 8 Hate Fish, 6 Suave Fish, 5 Tiger Shark Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Toro Flank Steak[edit]

Left

  • Difficulty: 3/10
  • Description: A beautiful cut, some say it tastes like juicy fillet minion and others agree that it tastes like dead fish fillet.
  • Pole Requirements: Level 20 Steam Powered Hydro-pole
  • Unlocks: High Voltage Line

  • Quest specific tips: The hardest fish in this quest is the Putrid, so you can use normal chum until all the Toro Fish are caught. At that point, any Suave fish can be caught using Hair Gel. Once only Putrid Fish are left, you can continue with love chum to give a .5% boost each cast and the 50% bonus for rare fish.
  • Catch Requirements: 7 Sapphire Shark Fish, 7 Toro Fish, 7 Suave Fish, 3 Putrid Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Bloomin Munchies[edit]

Left

  • Difficulty: 1/10
  • Description: Deep fried onion rings. Great snack when you have the munchies!
  • Pole Requirements: Level 20 Sonar Pulverizer

Your goal is to get the 6 Tiger Shark Fish first. Since none of the fish in this quest have a chum preference, RLC or Fish Guts are your best bets. While picking off the Tiger Shark Fish, you will most likely get all, or almost all, of the Sapphire Shark Fish and Suave Fish. If not, head over to Sig's Shell Shoppe and pick up the number of Munchies and Hair Gel you will need to finish them off. This quest could easily take as little as the minimum 18 casts (no fooling!), but more likely you will average around 30-50 casts.

Shark Nuggets[edit]

Left

Since the Red Diablo Shark Fish is the rarest of the four, this should be your priority even when using Antifreeze Protein. With RLC or Fish Guts turn on the Antifreeze Protein, if you have it. Do not be discouraged if your actual percentage of Red Diablo Shark Fish catches is less than 50%, like with most things, luck is a factor. Some have also turned on K9 Pheromone to also repel the chances of getting a Tiger Shark Fish in the hopes of boosting the effectiveness of the Antifreeze Protein.

While catching your Red Diablo Shark Fish, you will more than likely catch all of the remaining fish in your quest (don't forget to turn off your Antifreeze Protein once you have caught all the Red Diablo Shark Fish for your quest). If not, the Toro Fish and the Azul Fish should be the next ones on your list and at this point you have a couple of options:

  1. If you have caught all of your Suave Fish, as well: turn on the Chilli Sauce to repel them to focus on your other remaining quest fish.
  2. If you still have Suave Fish left to catch: keep fishing for the remaining fish as you have so far.

Once you have caught all of your Toro Fish and still need to catch any amount of the two remaining - you can turn on Red Blanket in order to repel the remaining Toro Fish. Remember, if you are using attractants/repellents - only two are allowed to be on at any given time. Of the three you can repel; Suave Fish, Tiger Shark Fish and Toro Fish - the last two have the lower point and gold values - so, repelling those two would be more point and gold effective.

After all of that, if you still have Suave Fish remaining, turn off any attractants/repellents still on (if you used any) and turn on Hair Gel to finish up.

With attractants/repellents, this quest should only take about 30-40 casts. Without, upwards 100.

Wrangler O's[edit]

Left

  • Difficulty: 3/10
  • Description: Start the morning with a deliciously nutritious bowl of cereal.
  • Pole Requirements: Level 25 Pneumatic Spear
  • Unlocks: Laserlight

  • Quest specific tips: Start this quest by concentrating on the Necktie Eel Fish and use either Fish Guts or RLC. You can use the repellent combination of Pistol Punch + Red Blanket mentioned in the first quest to make your odds very high for catching him, and you will catch the occasional Suave Fish at the same time. After this, if you are using RLC you can go ahead and finish both the Suave Fish and Speckled Hate Fish which can be attracted using Hair Gel and Vial of Bile, and after that continue with RLC and the repellent combo. Without RLC, it is better to save the attractants until all the Sting Ray Fish are caught first. This quest can take 100-200 casts depending on resources.
  • Catch Requirements: 7 Necktie Eel Fish, 6 Suave Fish, 6 Speckled Hate Fish, 2 Sting Ray Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Calamari Delight[edit]

Left

  • Quest specific tips: This quests features the Siberian Tiger Shark Fish again, which may end up as the bottleneck fish. If using RLC, it may be a good idea to use attractants from the start and use Hair Gel to get the Suave Fish, so the RLC boost will count towards the Siberian Tiger Sharks. The Mammoth Squid Fish is even less common, so there's a good chance it'll be your last fish. You can use the repellent combinations mentioned in the first quest, like for example Pistol Punch + Red Blanket to make your odds higher. If, after fishing the Siberian Tiger Sharks and the Mammoth Squid Fish, there are still Peccant Fish left, they can be finished quickly with Arsenic. This quest may take about 150-250 casts.
  • Catch Requirements: 8 Suave Fish, 7 Siberian Tiger Shark Fish, 6 Peccant Fish, 3 Mammoth Squid Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
