Below is a list of the quests available for the Planktonite.

Chopped Liger

(Difficulty: 1/10)
A flavorful appetizer derived from the Siberian Liger. You’ll never go back to basic chopped liver!
Pole Req: Level 15 Planktonite
Unlocks: Sucktion

Quest specific tips: This is a fairly straight forward & easy quest since there's only 3 fish as it can be done exclusively in Sig's Lair. You will likely finish the first two fish, and if this is your first attempt at this quest, catching a Spectacled Hate fish will unlock Sig's Vault. The fish has a higher population there than in Sig’s Vault (Threatened vs. Rare) so it's a good idea to travel. If it's a additional attempt, remember that Ligers can only be caught in SL & SW.

Marlin Meatloaf

(Difficulty: 3/10)
A special dish made with chunks of the Meat Grinder Marlin. You'll often hear wranglers shouting: “MOM...MEATLOAF!!”
Pole Req: Level 25 Planktonite
Unlocks: Torch

Quest specific tips: This is another fairly straight forward quest. The Meat Grinder Marlin will slow completion of the quest as the likely bottle-neck fish. Use Algae/Plankton chum to catch the Bowtie Eel, Great Diablo Shark and Reeko Suave Fish then switch to RLC/FLC to increase odds of catching the Meat Grinder Marlin. If you get lucky and happen to get both Meat grinder's without RLC and still have a few Reeko Suave Fish remaining, you can head to Sig's Vault where it has a slightly higher population there. (Numerous vs Average)

Squidizza

(Difficulty: 5/10)
Chicago style deep dish pizza topped with your favorite creatures from the sea!
Pole Req: Level 35 Planktonite
Unlocks: Scrocher

Quest specific tips: Start by catching the Siberian Liger and Great Diablo Shark in Sig's Lair. Then head to Sig's Vault to finish off the remaining Spectacled Hate Fish and Woolly Squid Fish. It is recommend to use RLC/FLC to increase your chances of catching the Wooly Squid as it is likely to be the quest bottleneck.

Feathered Feast

(Difficulty: 6/10)
Is it a turkey.. or an eagle?!? All that's for certain is Betsylou worked her magic and made a tasty meal that can be shared by all on special occasions!
Pole Req: Level 50 Planktonite
Unlocks: Magmenticles

Quest specific tips: If you have already made it to Sig's Wasteland, start by catching the Mutahnt Fish there first. It has a higher population there than in Sig's Vault. Head back to Sig's Vault to finish off the remaining fish. The Winged Ray Fish or the Electropian Lobsta Fish will be your quest bottlenecks. It is recommended to utilize RLC/FLC to catch any of these remaining fish. Note that the Winged Ray can only be caught in Sig's Vault; the rest can be caught in either Sig's Wasteland or Sig's Vault.

Octoodle Soup

(Difficulty: 8/10)
An Asian style soup loaded with noodles, octopus and spicy wasabi broth.
Pole Req: Level 62 Planktonite
Unlocks: Razors
Rewards: 1 Liquid Gold
Quest specific tips: There's few ways to do this - The most common is to finish the first two fish in Sigs Wasteland & do the rest in Sigs Vault. You may even catch a few Crab in Wasteland too.

The second is if you have LG to burn & going for speed. Start in the Vault & use LG to finish all of the Octos first & then stay in Sigs Wasteland afterwards, harnessing LG on the King Crab if you desire.

Alternatively, a third way is to use LG on the Crabs using the 1st method, and then on the Octos later.

This quest is very difficult - since it's broken up. The Octo Octo's which are Possibly Extinct and only available in the Vault. K Crab has the same population in both locations, making these 7 fish the most likely bottleneck fish of the quest. But there's a lower number of fish types in the Vault, so you will naturally have less competition to do them there. Still, you will most likely use more LG than you earn either way though so don't be afraid to build some even if your using love chum.

Sig's Sangria

(Difficulty: 10/10)
A stew like sangria mix crafted by the one and only...
Pole Req: Level 67 Planktonite
Unlocks: Tech Boost
Rewards: 2 Liquid Gold
Quest specific tips: All are caught in Wasteland, and the Magma Octo has a preferred taste for Plankton chum. Otherwise, Red Love Chum is the best way to go for this quest unless you are dedicated to wait the long haul for daily Quest boosts.

Oil Drum of Hump Soup

Bonus Quest

(Difficulty: 12/10)
More like an enormous barrel of soup, then a “dish” - but it's what Betsy requested. A creamy flavor with dashes of hair that only be found in the finest “Igor the Plankton” fish. Goes well on a Wednesday or with a box of wine.

Catch Req's: 30 Magma Octo Fish, 3 Razorback Fish, 10 Igor the Plankton Fish, 414 Madcow Fish ×1.5 when done with friend FW Trivia - Before it was a Oil Drum, this bonus quest was simply called Hump Soup. It gained the addition likely so a quest didn't start with this 4 letter word. Here's the shorter description: A creamy flavor with dashes of hair that only the finest mutant Igor fish can provide. Goes well on a Wednesday or with a box of wine.

SBQ - Sigs

SUPER BONUS QUEST!

(Difficulty: 20/10)
The Super Bonus Quest of Sigs requires Farovian Wrangler's to catch an unholy number of the rarest fish in town! Not for beginner's.
Pole Req: Level 100 Planktonite

Rewards: 100 FLC, 32 Red Shark, 16 Mystery Tackle Box
Quest specific tips: The Flamion fish requires the use of the Algaenite pole, while the Squid Murderous fish can only be caught with the Planktonite pole. The other two fish can be caught with either pole. Other than the Mutahnt fish, which is also located in the Vault, all these fish are located exclusively in the Wasteland. Mutant's population is better (Numerous in SW) so equip either pole and stay there. This quest can take up to 26,000+ casts.
