Description: The Mirage Fish is based upon the phenomenon which occurs when atmospheric refraction inverts the appearance of distant objects. A classic example is a “desert mirage” where an exhausted traveler may see water in the distance. Since a chameleon is a desert reptile, we chose it to portray this optical illusion.
