Chapter #8: Echoes of Victory[edit]
Catch the Jewelry Queen Eel Boss Fish which requires a pole level of 80 and is at Ironclad Castle
If you caught this one before November 19, 2025 then go to its fish page.
Next Step: With the Jewelry Queen defeated, the castle stands liberated. The Jewelry Queen revealed hidden territories beyond Medievalton! (But Fairwind Market won't open for another x hr xx mins). Captain Jozek and Dictator Danzic are preparing their tax bills - better save up your gold and silver! Two rival tax collectors from Farovia and Roperia both claim ownership of the Market, so naturally you'll need to pay both of them (because when two kingdoms both claim something, the solution is clearly to pay both).
Journal entry is as follows:
With the Jewelry Queen Eel defeated, the Ironclad Castle stood liberated. “The adventure continues,” I thought, amidst the echoes of my knighthood ceremony. Despite the victory, the shadow of escaped adversaries loomed, promising more challenges ahead in Roperia. Little did I know that the Queen's jeweled coils held secrets far greater than treasure - whispers of hidden territories where ancient Clans await, and where the greatest mystery of all, the fate of King Fin, may finally be revealed.
As I examined the Queen's final words, she spoke of Fairwind Market - a bustling harbor bazaar that lies beyond the fortified shores of Medievalton. The path is now open, and with it comes a new chapter of this legendary saga. The Clans are gathering, tax collectors are demanding payment, and the greatest battles are about to begin. The fate of King Fin may finally be within reach... if I dare to venture into the hidden extension of the medieval seas.
Chapter #9: The Hidden Extension[edit]
select: Pay Up! https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=pay-up
You hand over 110,000 gold and 90,000 silver to settle the tax dispute. Cap'n Jozek took 110,000 gold (had xxx gold, have xxx gold). Dictator Danzic took 90,000 silver (had xxx silver, have xxx silver). They finally stop bickering long enough to count their coins. Deckhand Deb mutters something about “highway robbery” but at least you're clear to venture to Fairwind Market!
Medievalton: You've paid the tax dispute! Captain Jozek and Dictator Danzic have finally stopped bickering long enough to count their coins. Fairwind Market is now open! The Jewelry Queen's whispers were true - this bustling harbor awaits, where Clans from across Roperia and Farovia clash for control.
Journal entry is as follows:
For years, wranglers have spoken of the day the Jewelry Queen Eel was finally defeated within the walls of Ironclad Castle. Yet her jeweled coils held more than just treasure - they held secrets. In the quiet years since, wranglers have pressed her for answers, and at last she has revealed whispers of a hidden extension of the medieval seas... deeper, darker, and more dangerous than any realm known before.
Beyond the fortified shores of Medievalton lies mysterious land with various Clans - each one a living legacy of towns and themes from Roperia and Farovia. These Clans have trained in secrecy for centuries, their breeds stronger and fiercer than anything wranglers have ever faced. Each encounter will test your wit, your chumcraft, and your pole - only the most skilled wranglers who master new chum combinations like the Crafter Chum and sharpen their Medieval Mauler will stand a chance.
Before wranglers can even explore the new territory, they receive letters from two rival tax collectors. Captain Jozek of Farovia demands gold, while Dictator Danzic of Roperia insists on silver - both claiming ownership of the Market's profits. Deckhand Deb warns wranglers that if they don't pay up, neither side will let them travel on.
Deb recently had a strange vision that's calling her to this mysterious territory - a glimpse of herself lying on the ground inside a dark corridor, her hands and body stained crimson. She admits the sight has left her both shaken and curious, unsure if it's a warning of doom or a call to destiny.
Deb looks relieved when you hand over your hard earned gold and silver, and you begin the adventure to Fairwind Market, a bustling hub where banners fly high and whispers of danger echo through the cobblestones. From there, wranglers will march into the domain of the Clans, unraveling battles, rivalries, and secrets. But at the end of it all looms the greatest mystery of them all - the long-lost whereabouts of King Fin. His fate has haunted wranglers since the age of legends, and now the answers may finally lie within your grasp... if you dare to seize them.
Travel to Fairwind Market
Next Step: Beyond the fortified shores lies Fairwind Market - a bustling harbor where Clans from across Roperia and Farovia clash for control. The Jewelry Queen wasn't exaggerating: every town has sent its fiercest fighters. Next: catch the Diving Fire Beetle - rumor has it the little bugger has a tendency to explode things...
Catch the Diving Fire Beetle Fish. This requires a pole level of 125 (or 123+LC)
Medievalton: By the briny beard of King Fin - wrangler, ye caught that beetle and it BLEW UP THE MARKET! The entire harbor is ablaze! Deb is screaming, merchants are fleeing, and the gulls are roasting marshmallows. Quick, use your Fire Extinguisher before Fairwind Market becomes Fairwind Ashes!
Select: Use the Fire Extinguisher 1/3 https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=extinguish-1
PSSSSHHHHH You unleash the Fire Extinguisher on the blazing market! The flames retreat slightly, coughing in white foam. Unfortunately, you've only extinguished approximately 35.5% of the inferno. The fire glares at you, insulted but still very much alive. Used 1 Fire Extinguisher (had xx, have xx). Wait 5 seconds for the smoke to clear...
Medievalton: Good start! The fire is 33.3% extinguished, but two-thirds of the market is still crackling merrily. The flames are regrouping for a counter-attack. Deploy the second Fire Extinguisher before they organize a union!
Select: Use the Fire Extinguisher 2/3 https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=extinguish-2
PSSSSHHHHH Round two! You heroically foam-blast another section of the market. The fire is now cowering in the corner like a scolded puppy. Approximately 69.8% extinguished! Deb cheers from a safe distance while eating a sandwich. Used 1 Fire Extinguisher (had xx, have xx). Just one more extinguisher should do it... probably.
Medievalton: Excellent work! 66.6% extinguished! The fire is officially on the ropes, cowering in the corner like a scolded puppy. Wait NOW for the smoke to dissipate, then deliver the finishing blow with your final Fire Extinguisher!
Select: use fire extinguisher 3/3 https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=extinguish-3
PSSSSHHHHH VICTORIOUS FOAM BLAST! The last flames sputter out in defeat, leaving behind only soggy market stalls and the smell of extinguisher chemicals mixed with fish. The Diving Fire Beetle is nowhere to be seen (probably fled in shame). Used 1 Fire Extinguisher (had xx, have xx). You receive a Lustred Candle (had 0, have 1) as a reward - ironically, an open flame. Deb declares you “Official Market Fire Marshal” and gives you a certificate written on a singed napkin.
Medievalton: FIRE EXTINGUISHED! Fairwind Market is saved (mostly soggy, but saved). You've been awarded the Lustred Candle - ironically, an open flame, but Deb insists it's “symbolic”. The Diving Fire Beetle has fled in shame. Now catch Commander Leonglor to claim the Market! Read Chapter 9 for the full story!
Chapter #10: Fairwind Market Uprising[edit]
Catch a Commander Leonglor Fish which requires pole level of 137. It is a boss battle so you'll have to use the boss battle meter to catch it.
Reeled in a xx kg Commander Leonglor, worth xxxx points and xxxx silver. I used 1 (chum), have xxx left. Next Step: The Market is yours, but your journey isn't over. The path north leads to Runecrest Range - frozen ridgelines where runic monoliths glow beneath the aurora. Head there and catch The Angel and The Walrus - they're about to make things very... chilly.
Journal entry is as follows:
Wranglers arrive at Fairwind Market expecting a quiet stop for supplies... but instead, the place has become a full-blown clan battleground. The Jewelry Queen's whispers weren't exaggerations: every town across Roperia and Farovia has sent forth its fiercest Clans, now locking horns for control of the Market's docks.
From the Breakfast Braces Clan (delicious but deadly fish from Breakfast Bay, like the Octomuffin Chocolate Wizard and Turtlicore Boatworker), to the Garbage Junker Clan (who hauls its recruits straight from Plastic Island, using rust and rubbish as armor), to the Mermaid Bandits (who shimmer with beauty from Mermaid Cove, only to rob wranglers blind the second they blink) - every corner of the realm is represented.
Each Clan hides a chum secret in the belly of just one fish, and wranglers must face all four from every Clan if they wish to advance. The Crafter Chum becomes invaluable here, working with any combination. But the greatest challenge is the one who rules them all: Commander Leonglor, the battle-hardened leader of the Jungle Warriors. Wreathed in leafy smoke, armored in battered scraps of salvaged collections, and crowned with a hand-forged helm, he commands obedience with a single glare. Defeating him won't just win the Market - it's the only way to march deeper into the medieval depths.
Along the way, wranglers survive a Market Firestorm (thanks to the Diving Fire Beetle - who knew those old Fire Extinguishers would come in handy?!) and also will uncover curious Guildhall Relics scattered across Fairwind Market. These items aren't just trinkets; together, they piece together the Market's shady past and reveal the path to Runecrest Range.
Words of wisdom from the Ancient Mariner: “If ye find the Dockmaster's whistle, don't blow it - unless ye like bein' pooped on by seagulls.”
Runecrest Range section[edit]
NOTE: These still seem to be part of Chapter 10.
Travel to Runecrest Range
Catch a The Angel and The Walrus Fish which requires a pole level of 146.
Next Step: BLAST IT! The Angel and The Walrus unleashed an icy aura so powerful that everything is freezing solid! Deb panics: “Wrangler, me eyebrows just froze together! Quick, pour the Antifreeze before we're medieval lawn ornaments!” The rope bridges are creaking under frost, and your gear won't function in this deep freeze!
Select: Use Antifreeze (1/3) - https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=unfreeze-1
- GLUG GLUG GLUG* You pour the first bottle of Antifreeze over your frozen gear. There's an ominous crackling sound as ice begins to thaw. Deb's eyebrows are still fused together, but at least one of them twitched. Progress! Your fishing pole is no longer a decorative icicle. Used 1 Antifreeze (had xxx, have xxx). Wait 9 seconds for the chemical magic to work...
Medievalton: Good! The first bottle is working - Deb's eyebrows twitched! Your fishing pole is no longer a decorative icicle. But you're not fully thawed yet. Apply the second Antifreeze to continue the de-icing process!
Select: Use Antifreeze (2/3) - https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=unfreeze-2
Unlocked Chapter#10: Fairwind Market Uprising!
- GLUG GLUG GLUG* Second bottle deployed! The frost retreats like it just remembered it left the oven on. Your chum bucket is no longer a solid block of frozen bait. Deb's eyebrows have successfully separated - she blinks in relief and immediately complains about something else. The rope bridges are creaking back to life. Used 1 Antifreeze (had xxx, have xxx). Almost there...
Medievalton: Excellent! Deb's eyebrows have separated and she's blinking in relief! Your chum bucket is thawed, the rope bridges are creaking back to life. One more Antifreeze and you'll be fully operational again!
Select: Use Antifreeze (3/3) - https://fishwrangler.com/my?me=unfreeze-3
- GLUG GLUG GLUG* FINAL THAW COMPLETE! The last traces of frost evaporate with a satisfied hiss. Your equipment is warm, functional, and no longer threatening to become a display at the Museum of Frozen Wranglers. The rope bridges are stable, the monoliths have stopped humming ominously, and even the aurora seems less judgmental. Used 1 Antifreeze (had xxx, have xxx). Deb declares herself “completely de-popsicled” and ready to march deeper into Runecrest Range!
Medievalton: FULLY THAWED! Your equipment is warm, functional, and no longer threatening to become museum artifacts. The rope bridges are stable, the monoliths have stopped humming ominously, and Deb declares herself “completely de-popsicled”. Now catch Commander Cosmo Collector to unlock the path to Crownforge Keep. The greatest battles still lie ahead!
Catch a Commander Cosmo Fish which requires pole level of 166. It is a boss battle so you'll have to use the boss battle meter to catch it.
