I night fish in Icelantica, then travel to BC for my quests. Since today's tourney was in MR, I used the auto-travel/auto-equip feature. On the way there, I stopped in LF to drill a hole and got this message: Purchase the Blood Powered Auger, bad auger/pole combo (Solar Powered Auger/Cubey Incinerator)

No, this is just saying that the pole you are using is not compatible with the auger you drilled a hole with. i.e. in your case, you used the good auger but you didnt have the good pole active. - Jasman 01:41, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

But it probably means that "evil" is the default (all non-aligned poles are evil?) so you can drill with the Blood Powered Auger while wielding the CI (and get evil points). Same way as if you travel with the snowshoes while using a regular pole, it will display the evil version of the snowshoes. --Jayberwock 19:30, November 16, 2009 (UTC)
