Is there any way to increase the chance of getting hate attractants? I am working on a quest and cannot get the fish or the attractants.

If you have other attractants you can sell for shells(big penalty in coins) and use shells to purchase hate attractant.

It is not a "big penalty in coins" it is a "restocking fee." Actually, one purpose is to keep players from just willy-nilly trading in and out all the time. Another reason is if a person is going to want to attempt a 15-grim, 15-joan, 15-scitzo streak in a tournament - they are going to have to pay some gold in exchange for trying to run the table.
