Here is a post from Joe (FW Developer) that gives some light on the issue with people getting stuck especially on Treasure chests.
Joe Faron There appears to be an issue with FB right now and javascript / forms.. So the captcha is causing people to get stuck.. amongst other various things not working. We've heard many users say its happening to them in other apps too. We'll have to await a fix from FB.[edit]

FYI: I got stuck and had to create a bogus FB account to get back into Fish Wranger to access the Forums. There are quite a few posts, so this issue is fairly widespread and known. Just have to wait it out.
