Can anyone give me ideas as to why I can't seem to do well in tourneys? Today I used a level 32 excali pole in waterport and ended up with 226 points. I had more misses than hits. I'm using steak chum. Any ideas anyone?

In WP/excalipole the best fish you can get are Grim and Hate... using attractants will get you a good tourney score. Using RLC in tourneys is usually a good idea, since it levels your pole at double speed, AND you have a high chance of getting the chum back.
