Flaming Marrus[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 6/10)
N/A
Pole Req: Level 78 Fariana Submarina

Quest specific tips: Even though a player can start this quest at Lvl 78, this quest includes fish as high as the Orthocannon lvl 96 fish, so player may want to hold off starting this quest until your pole is higher then lvl ~82 or more. With a quest difficulty of 6/10 and the first harder habitat fish of the NE habitat Roughback Bat, this is the first quest recommended for a player to consider diving down deeper than the Safe depth level.

While this quest can be done at any depth level, it is recommended to start off fishing at Safe depth to catch the first Ostracod's. The Ostracod with an Extremely Rare habitat will take a few casts but should be able to done in couple hundred casts. Once those are eliminated consider diving down to depth of either of Risky or Dangerous in order to catch the most elusive fish of this quest in the NE habitat Roughback Bats making best use of the quest boost being applied to this fish as well. Once those are eliminated it is suggested to dive back up to the less risky Safe depth. If following the suggested holding off until starting this quest at pole lvl +82, then with some luck a good portion of the endangered Glassopus should have been caught by this time as well. Finish off any remaining Glassopus that one may have left, and by the time those are all completed your pole should be high enough to start catching the last extremely rare habitat lvl 90 Orthocannon's. In all this quest will likely take on average around 1600 casts.
Catch Req's: 17 Ostracod Fish, 12 Roughback Bat Fish, 14 Glassopus Fish, 30 Orthocannon Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Spaghetti Fishetti[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 5/10)
N/A
Pole Req: Level 99 Fariana Submarina

Quest specific tips: Once again with the highest quest fish being lvl 109 being higher then this quests initial start requirement, it is recommended to hold off starting this quest until your pole is somewhere between the two. Recommended at least lvl 102+ to catch as many of this quests hardest Spaghetti Monster before getting to them. Even though this quest difficulty is slightly less than the prior, it will likely take around the same time if not slightly longer to complete.

Start off fishing at either Safe or Risky depth (player preference) for the first two fish in this quest. Of the two, the Glassopus being an endangered habitat will be the tougher of the two but only requires needing 7 of them so should not prove too difficult. The next Orthocannon with slightly easier habitat populations of Extremely Rare, but does require needing quite a few more of 32 of them. Once eliminating the first two, suggested to dive down to the next deeper depth (Risky or Dangerous depending what you started with respectively) in order to eliminate the toughest fish in this quest in the CE habitat Spaghetti Monster using the quest boost applied to it. Once all of those are caught, depending what your pole level was when starting this quest, your pole level should now be high enough to start catching the remaining rare habitat Crinoid pole lvl 109 fish. Due to the extreme number of 44 Crinoid's, this will take little bit of time to finish off the last quest fish.
Catch Req's: 7 Glassopus Fish, 32 Orthocannon Fish, 10 Spaghetti Monster Fish, 44 Crinoid Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Surf n Soup[edit]

Blank.gif

(Difficulty: 7/10)
N/A
Pole Req: Level 116 Fariana Submarina

Quest specific tips: Both the last two fish of this quest being lvl 119 and lvl 122 respectively are higher then this quest starting requirement of lvl 116. Once again player might consider holding off starting this quest until your pole is higher then its initial starting requirement. Although with only +6 levels variance, this is not as critical as the prior quests as your pole will likely level high enough in time when needing to catch the next quest fish. At most holding off until lvl 119 (or half leveled 118) in order to catch as many of what will likely be your bottleneck Tardigrade fish.

Start off fishing at either Safe or Risky depth (player preference) for the first three fish in this quest. Recommended to choose the middle Risky depth though. The first fish Crinoid being the most populous habitat of this qeust as well as needing the least amount of 22 of the first three quest fish, should be the easiest to eliminate. The next Armored Searobin at extremely rare is the toughest habitat of the three but with needing less 32 opposed to slightly easier rare habitat of Tardigrade but requiring 46 of those. This will depend on luck in which of the two will be eliminated first. But due to the larger amount, the Tardigrade will likely be your bottleneck fish of this quest.

Once the first three quest fish are eliminated, with some luck should have already caught some of the toughest CE habitat Rhino Chimaera if not all of them. Player has the option of diving down to a deeper level if one chooses to finish off any remaining amount. But this really is not necessary, especially if you are already at the middle Risky depth as recommended. With a total of 107 fish, none of which are easy, will realistically take around a week in order to complete. Although with some effort in number of casts per day and generous use of boosts, that time can be cut down in half.
Catch Req's: 25 Crinoid Fish, 32 Armored Searobin Fish, 46 Tardigrade Fish, 4 Rhino Chimaera Fish ×1.5 when done with friend
