Below is a list of the quests available for the Algaenite.

Diablo Dogs

(Difficulty: 1/10)
Farovia's favorite hotdogs on a sesame seed bun – be sure to top them with all the works! Almost as good as the ole' Demon Dog at Depaul!
Pole Req: Level 15 Algaenite
Unlocks: Flames

Quest specific tips: The quest is very straightforward. All Fish are easily caught in Sig's Lair.

If you're going for a time record, Reeko Suave is more common in the Vault (Average versus Numerous), and The Great Diablo is more common in the Wasteland (Numerous versus Fairly Prolific). It's also notable that fishing in the Vault or Wasteland will reduce the number of common fish encountered, notably those from Sans Culpra common in Sig's Lair. The Bowtie Eel only appears in Sig's Lair, however, and the Reeko Suave will only appear in Sig's Vault or Lair. so fishing in Sig's Lair initially is mandatory for efficient multiplier use.

Fish Omelet

(Difficulty: 3/10)
Most wranglers haven't seen fish in an omelet.. but this is the perfect way to start the day.
Pole Req: Level 25 Algaenite
Unlocks: Stingers

Quest specific tips: All the fish in this quest are located at Sig's Lair. The Meat Grinder Marlin will slow completion of the quest as the likely bottle-neck fish. Use Algae/Plankton chum to catch the ShoGun, Siberian Liger, and Spectacled Hate then switch to RLC/FLC to increase odds of catching the Meat Grinder Marlin. If having serious trouble with the Marlin, try using Pistol Punch to repel Samurai, Red Blanket for Red Diablo, and/or Chili Sauce for Sauve. Note that these resources will not work on mutated counterparts, and will get expensive if used continuously. If you're having trouble with the Spectacled Hate, it is quicker to catch them in Sig's Vault, because they have a lower population in Sig’s Lair than in Sig’s Vault (Threatened vs. Rare).

Mutant Marinara

(Difficulty: 5/10)
FFDA recently shut down the Sand Bar & Gill due to the tasty high amounts of mercury in the Marinara.
Pole Req: Level 35 Algaenite
Unlocks: Spotlight

Quest specific tips: Start at Sig's Lair to catch the Bowtie Eel Fish then move to Sig's Vault to catch the Reeko fish easier. If you finish them and unlocked it, travel to Sig's Wasteland to complete Quest.

Crab Cakes

(Difficulty: 6/10)
Spritz some lemon on these tasty crab cakes, and you'll love this popular hor d'oeurve.

Quest specific tips: Fish at Sig's Vault to catch the Spectacled Hate, Woolly Squid & Winged Ray, use LG to assist with catching the Kingdom Crab at either Sig's Vault or Sig's Wasteland

Bling Tail

(Difficulty: 8/10)
The Bling Tail is the most delectable portion of the Electropion Lobster. Should you eat it – or should you sell it?
Pole Req: Level 62 Algaenite
Unlocks: Avenjer
Rewards: 1 Liquid Gold
Quest specific tips: Catch the Giant PBJ's and Spotlight Fish in Sig's Wasteland first (neither are difficult). Move back to Sig's Vault for the Octo Octo as it cannot be caught in the Wasteland. Use RLC boost for the Octo Octo and Lobsta's. Lobsta's can be caught in either Vault or Wasteland.(possibly extinct in both).

Sig's Martini

(Difficulty: 10/10)
A chemically altered Martini crafted by the one and only...
Pole Req: Level 67 Algaenite
Unlocks: Ultimate Mutation
Rewards: 2 Liquid Gold
Quest specific tips: All the fish in this quest are located in Sigs Wasteland. The Flamion Fish is "Near Extinction" while the others are all "Possibly Extinct."
Catch Req's: 12 Flamion Fish, 9 Band Crab Fish, 6 Diamond Rock Fish, 1 Joan of Enjer Fish ×1.5 when done with friend

Freezer Full of Fillets

Bonus Quest

(Difficulty: 12/10)
More of a freezer load of fish fillets, than a “dish” - but it's what Betsy requested. A sweet and savory flavor that can only be found in the finest “Igor the Algae” fish. Goes well with Pinot Grigio or an expensive glass of goat's milk.
Pole Req: Level 80 Algaenite

Rewards: 3 Liquid Gold and 200 Red Love Chum
Quest specific tips: This is pretty straight forward. Fish in Sig's Wasteland for Band Crabs and Reapers with Algae chum. Hopefully a few Joan of Enjers will come while you work on those other two. When the Band Crabs are done, you probably want to switch to RLC/FLC to catch the rest of the Enjers and the Igor the Algaes. It'll seem to take forever!

FW Trivia - This bonus quest was originally called 72oz-er, but changed later on. This is it's description: A sweet and savory flavor that only the finest mutant fish can provide. Goes well with Pinot Grigio or an expensive glass of goats milk.

Sigs

SUPER BONUS QUEST!

(Difficulty: 20/10)
The Super Bonus Quest of Sigs requires Farovian Wrangler's to catch an unholy number of the rarest fish in town! Not for beginner's.
Pole Req: Level 100 Algaenite

Rewards: 100 FLC, 32 Red Shark, 16 Mystery Tackle Box
Quest specific tips: The Flamion fish requires the use of the Algaenite, while the Squid Murderous fish can only be caught with the Planktonite. The other two fish can be caught with either pole. Other than the Mutahnt fish, which is also located in the Vault, all these fish are located exclusively in Sigs Wasteland. Since Mutant's population is Numerous in SW compared to Rare in SV, equip either pole in SW. If you start with either pole and finish the 66 fish for it, you can leave the other pole equipped after. This quest can take up to 26,000+ casts.
