==Skills==

Skills are courses on different subject matters that improve your fishing abilities. Skills are cumulative (they are all added together and change your stats), so the more skills you acquire the better your overall catching ability becomes. A breakdown of what fish are unlocked with each skill can be found in the [[Fish_Pole_Skill_Matrix |Pole / Skill Matrix]]. Roperia and Farovia both have their own skills

Each island has its own Supply Store, so you may need to travel to different islands to acquire particular skills.

NOTE: There is no course text to read after 'learning' a skill. You simply unlock new fish and improve your chances of catching rare breeds.

If one plays on the FW platform (https://fish-wrangler.com), all Skill Point values will have a 2% boost (as well as a 2% boost to Strength).
