Line 1: Line 1:
Earl's wife, BetsyLou, needs help in preparing dishes for her restaurant, Sand Bar & Gill, located in Waterport. Each fishing pole has an assortment of signature dishes that require particular fresh fish from the local waters.
Compete in a quest either individually or with a friend. After catching all the dish requirements, wranglers must visit Betsy Lou in Farovia or Ruby Mae in Roperia. Or wranglers can turn in any quests at alternate locations Farovian or Roperian locations. Such as Chef Wolfie at The Chataeu D'Amour in Lover's Lake, Jenny at FAST in Fishertonville, or RUSSOQ Headquarters in Glacier Shack.

I sure do miss Gumbo Gary.. Many thought he loved gumbo, but truth is he didn't like it much at all.

There are currently 2 locations to turn in quests for Roperia. The Wave Bar and Grill in Santa Francesca for all Roperian quests except for Icelantica Backside pole quests. And RUSSOQ Headquarters in Glacier Shack for all Icelantica Backside pole quests.

But you can also turn in any of the quests at any of the quest turn-in locations, not only the corresponding ones, it will still be accepted. Just make sure you have that 100% completed quest active first so it recognizes it.

Completing some quests unlock an augmented addon for that pole, which you can obtain once completing the quest and maxing out the pole. Each addon unlocks more levels to add to your pole, and allows you to begin catching the Augmented Fish (there are at least four fish per pole at levels 57, 64, 73 and 80 - some poles may introduce more fish).

The final quest does not unlock anything, but wranglers completing the final dish are awarded the rare Liquid Gold attractant by the Ancient Mariner as a reward for their dedication to the task. You are also rewarded a Trophy Dish prize for completing that poles entire quest set.

Super Bonus Quests
Betsy Lou and Ruby Mae wanted to see how talented wranglers really were, as they kept handing in Quest Sets! So the two ladies formulated new enormous platters that they've titled “Super Bonus Quests” - BEWARE: NOT for Aspiring Wranglers! In order to start a Super Bonus Quest, you'll need to hand over some resources to the ladies. You will not be refunded the resources back, if you start/quit a Super Bonus Quest.

Most Island areas will also have a SBQ (Super Bonus Quests) which usually require using all the poles for those Island areas and require having completed their respective poles entire Quest Set. For example WaterPort SBQ requires having completed all Oak Branch, Broken Standard and Fancy Rifle poles quest set before unlocking, plus the fish catch requirements include fish for all poles. Once unlocked, in order to start a SBQ requires the use of gold and resources. Clicking to start a SBQ will prompt advising what all gold and resources will be used to start, and you must click confirm to actually start it if you have all the necessary amounts. Completing a SBQ rewards Free Love Chum and various other bonuses, such as Liquid Gold, MTB, MTB, Deckhand Voucher, Red Shark, and/or Tarpit Stout. If that SBQ rewards Liquid Gold, upon completing it for the first time usually rewards either 2 or 3 LG. Any additional times completed will give 1 less. Please see the quest section FAQ LG below for more info on LG rewards.

Multi-region Quests
Multi-region, multi-pole quests requires the use of several poles in order to get all the fish catch requirements. They will include fish for both regions of Farovia and Roperia. There are currently 3 multi-region, multi-pole quests (as of Dec 2021). These quests were all special holiday event quests, but they are currently all still available to be done. They include the Thanksgiving Feast quest, Valentine's Feast quest, and the Winter Feast quest. All of the multi-region quests requires to be activated in both regions. As wrangler experience has shown that starting a quest in one region, then traveling to the other region and equipping the next required pole will not automatically activate the multi-region quest the first time. So you must make sure the quest is activated in both regions. This can easily be seen under the Quest section on your home page to see which quest is currently active.
:For more details, see Feast Quests

Initially the first Thanksgiving Feast quest was released along with the release of the Limited Time Fish Super Spud Fish for Thanksgiving 2013 event. When the event was over the Super Spud was moved to the Liquid Gold list along with all the other limited time fish. The Thanksgiving Feast has always still been able to complete, just that you will require quite a bit of LG to complete it. It requires the use of 3 poles for 4 different fish (2 in Farovia, 2 in Roperia) and lots of LG.

The next Valentine's Feast quest was released when the holiday Heart Strings pole was re-released and brought back for Valentine 2021, and has remained. It requires the use of 3 poles for 6 different fish (2 in Roperia, 4 in Farovia).

(Note: Thanksgiving Bonus quest will appear in Roperia section, as you need those poles first before starting. An add to Broken Standard unbalances the Farovia section rows.)
The most recent Winter Feast quest was released for Christmas / Holiday 2021 and will remain. It requires the use of 6 poles for 7 different fish (3 in Farovia, 4 in Roperia).

You can compete in the same quest multiple times.

Quests can be completed individually or with a friend. You can not invite someone who is already actively completing the same quest. If you invite a friend to a quest, the invitation remains active for 24 hours. You will be unable to invite another friend to your quest until the invitation expires or your friend rejects the invite. If competing with a friend, dish requirements will be multiplied by 1.5 (rounded down).
