Using the [[Resources#Garbage Sweeper|Garbage Sweeper]], you must "Sweep" the trash, which will clear out the area for 60 minutes, during which you can fish as normal. When used, it gives you a chance at finding a piece of the [[Collectables#Garbage Cleanup|Garbage Cleanup Collectables]] set. Be sure to hop off the island right afterwards and do not do any other activities besides setting your poles/chums and casting your 15: no trimming, no opening chests, no visiting shops, and no refreshing the screen by clicking on the logo.
