- As stated in the summary, the Melted Cubey Fish, while being a regular fish, has a special catch requirement; it can only be caught after catching 2000 regular Cubies in order to finally access the Melted Cubey Fish as a catch.
- Until then, trying to catch the Melted Cubey will net the wrangler this messsage: The Ancient Mariner suggested I acquire xxxx more hexahedronal objects, if I ever plan on procuring the melted variety.
- Cubies can be caught in bulk by using the Cubey Incinerator at Waterport and Fishertonville
