:I would think that you should still be able to buy chum with the new updates, even without any crew members. If you can't you should try using the contact link at the bottom of the FW page and send in a support message. However, you could consider simply adding some friends from the 'Add Me' forum to get some more crew - they will greatly help you, taking you on lots of extra fishing trips and you will be able to buy lots of chum, which is very helpful for when you are fishing in SC or if you prefer using steak in MR : )
