|notes = Howler Fish falls into the category of fish that were added later on after a island's release to become a permanent fixture. The Howler fish was added later to Doom Island for both a Contest, and later on as part of a Super Bonus Quest.
Currently, it the latest new permanent fish to be added later to main game (although not available for Beta tests along with the TYS SBQ) that wasn't part of the intial release. Gramma Fish was added similarly, although was part of Heartland from the start with a different population and was left out due to a bug or purposely.
