If your pole level is not near max, use tournaments and level boosts along with love chum to level rapidly so you can get access to Bandits (90+), Peyote Puffer (95+), and Dodge Croc (100). [[Saloon Girl]] is not a threat as you can fight her off at level 75+. If you're not able to use a Lucky bonus, you could use some LG to catch Dodge Croc.

As such, it is partially or seasonally retired due to the fact you need to harness 15 LG in order to catch this fish now (or 11LG each if fishing with a friend).  It contains 41 fish (ranging from Very Rare to Threatened) and was released for a couple of days as the reward made it lucrative to complete despite costing shells to start.
