Do I actually need to buy the advanced auger? Seeing as how I can just drill in San Digloo and fish here, do I actually need it or can I save money for Snowpeak?

Rabid Raccoon[edit]
Just a few minutes ago I had an encounter with the rabid raccoon and, in contradiction with this article, I lost points and gold - I have a level 64 HL. We should change the likelihood of success from 100 to something less. Miker5825 04:33, January 4, 2010 (UTC)
- There are two instances you will meet the Raccoon. The first is when you first try to fish there. Here he will pop up and you only have two choices. See Lake_Freezberg#First_Encounters_with_the_Rabid_Raccoon. If you have a level 43 or higher you will always win (or at least use to). Once you have won, you only see the raccoon in the normal enemy mode (see Lake_Freezberg#Dueling_with_the_Rabid_Raccoon). Here it is recommended you need a pole level greater than 66 before choosing that option, although it is still possible to lose against him regardless of pole level.
- In which mode did you encounter the raccoon? If it was the former then the game has changed from its original implementation. If it was the latter then its business as normal.
