Should add a cosmetic bug when starting Sig's Lair. The Algenite starts out with the following level information:

This article should be linked somewhere, but I am hesitant to put it in such a high profile spot as the Gameplay box on the Main Page. It should be easily accessible, but not stumbled upon for the casual or starting player. Suggestions? --[[User:Hyperchao|Hyperchao]] 18:40, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Do we have any proof that the boof is effective for the quest?<br />
I mean having a 8X boost won't change much the fact you can cast 50 times and not take a single of these fish...<br />

:There are only two ways you can get this proof: Code analysis or collecting enough statistical data to make conclusions. The first is not going to happen; Joe says it works, which may or may not be correct :-) For the second, we need to first have a baseline (know the approximate chance of getting the fish without any boost), and then collect statistics using RLC boost, to see if the chance is improved. This is very hard to do, it would require collaboration and collecting at least a few thousand samples of cast counts. Wiki can be used to track the information, but someone needs to 'own' this project and get people to sign up for providing samples on one identical setup & target fish.
:All this said, I think it _probably_ works, but the effect is not big enough to make a clearly noticeable difference in the odds.. --[[User:Jayberwock|Jayberwock]] 17:27, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
