Forum:Whats the minimum Hydro Pole level that anyone has caught a Grim Fish with?
I'm wading around in Fisherton trying to get my 3 Grim Fish requirement so I can get my Master Shark Wrangling skill. But I'm wondering at what level HydroPole do I begin to start seeing Grim Fish?

The Grim can't be caught with the Hydro-pole, see Grim Fish.

So now the question becomes..
I have a lvl 70 Oak Branch, can I catch Grim Fish with that? (Sorry I just re-read the Wiki, Min Pole is the Rifle Pole) Or do I buy an Excalipole vs. Necropole to level and catch grim fish asap?
You would be best off using the Fancy-Rifle Pole to catch the Grim; using a more advanced pole would widen your selection of fish to be caught and possibly decrease your chances of catching the Grim.
